Get it down the hatch!
Whilst this particular protein powder does have an unusual taste, some would say unpalatable, it serves perfectly when mixed with any of the often overly sweet whey proteins available. Increasing nutrient diversity, adding in proteins that take a little longer than whey to break down, perfect for a snack between meals.

Rank. Disgusting. Foam.
Context: I have drunk a lot of protein powder. I usually use bulk protein whey unflavoured, with either water or goat milk. Love it. Hate the bloating caused by a personal intolerance. Review: unflavoured beef protein is rank. Flavour is meh. It’s a bit beefy, I don’t mind. However, it doesn’t dissolve. Period. Turned the bottom of my shaker into the sink — it’s like putty. Worst thing — they insist on a return prior to refund. Don’t bother with this product. Urgh.

Uhhhhhhh, be careful...
This seemed like a gift from heaven, a solution to all my problems since I can't have whey or sweeteners. Buuuuuttt..... ok, I managed to get through one bag and had bought another in panic before the lockdown. It's sticky. It's hard to mix. And put a flavour with it (cocoa/banana/strawberry powder/cinnamon) AND DON'T BAKE WITH IT. It does, however, work quite well with coconut cream/tinned coconut milk. Mix a bit with this to make a paste then add in water/milk/whatever. If you hate it and are about to throw it away, it works well with a scoop added in a coconut salted caramel sauce boiled on the hob (you should try this regardless without the protein, it's the SECOND NECTAR FROM THE GODS) - it just also just makes the protein edible.

1 Massive Pro - no artificial sweeteners, all the rest is Cons
Only positive thing is that it is free of artificial sweeteners, which harm your brain and gut. Almost impossible to mix, overbaked bones and smells of wet dog. My collagen powder is mixing times better. You could add it to shakes I assume, but forget the hand mixing, unless in hot water and even then you have to start with tiny bit for a smooth thick paste and add more liquid after. It’s wasting a lot of my time and I find this REALLY annoying. I mix it with collagen, 1 lemon’s juice, turmeric and black pepper and have it as a thick broth. It is too runny to call it soup. Sometimes I add spirulina. It is palatable but not by much.

A great dairy-free protein source.
Regarding other reviews about the taste - it's powdered beef; of course it's disgusting. The unflavoured version has no after-taste and rinses away immediately with a quick sip of water. If you gulp it down quickly and don't breath through your nose while you drink it then it's fine, unlike many other brands which have a vile hour long aftertaste. It's a great supplement for athletes, especially those with a dairy allergy or other illnesses.

Beefy protein with 'nowt else in it! ~Updated review
I refuse to eat garbage; gluten, wheat, diary, yeast, sugar are all out for me, needless fillers. The beef protein is near perfect ingredient wise, packs a high power protein punch, OK carbs are low, but just stack with real food the rest of the day. I've tried Whey Powders in the past and whilst gains are good, the side effect of bloating is a major put off equally with the high levels of sugar that you find in there. Taste wise this stuff isn't great but it is certainly edible. I nutribullet mine with a scoop of powder, half a banana, 250ml coconut milk and two level teaspoons of rolled oats. Might smell a bit meaty but taste like a malted drink in my opinion. Will be buying a 2kg bag. Haven't mixed it water as I don't want to drink wall paper paste (same applies to all Whey), life is too short my friends. ~Updated review - now after trying to take this (unmixed) to the gym, post workout, forget, worst f****** thing you can imagine. So basically if you can't machine blend don't buy, pointless

Ok quantity, but undrinkable, don’t buy this.
Good quantity for the price but the unflavoured option is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted, I know it’s unflavoured but it is flavoured, of off beef. Additionally, it froths so much when you shake it in a shaker that it turns to foam and is undrinkable. I’ve normally had good experiences with this brand but this will be the last time I purchase any product like this.
