Really good scissor, very sharp. Cuts hair well.

These have been BRILLIANT. cut my hair many times with them since purchasing and they are perfect for what i needed.

When I saw the plastic packaging of these I was a bit disappointed, the last set (scissors & thining shears) came in a zipped pouch, so I guess I was expecting more.. But they're actually really nice and I wish Id bought them sooner. Theres masses on Amazon & differing reviews for them all so it becomes difficult to choose, but all in all I'm really happy I choose these. My last set was £27 (some years ago) purchased from Sally's (Gemtech) and I much prefer these tbh. The GT never cut very nice and always had that rough sound when cutting.. The Equinox really slice though with a nice noise too! Really happy I've got these, they've left my hair soft with a neat, straight edge, not frayed with rough split ends!

Sharper than my previous scissors which is what I was looking for. I don't need anything too intense because they're only used to trim my own hair twice a month. I do have very fine hair that requires a sharp blade. Feels great in the hand but I would prefer a pointed tips, these are rounded.

Barber of 40 years. Bought whilst my very expensive regular scissors were getting sharpened. Still using them 12 months later. A tad heavy but hey I’m a big lad and can handle the extra few grammes. Went back to my regular very expensive scissors whilst I sent them off to be sharpened and found it difficult to adapt. I think I got used to the extra weight and found I preferred it. Excellent value and usability, will buy more when these get relegated to the wife’s sewing box, which I usually do every couple of years with cheaper scissors. These might get12 months reprieve as they are very good

These are SHARP! Use carefully and maintain them and they work great.

After seeing the reviews I felt pretty confident about buying these, but I wish I hadn’t. I usually accidentally snip my fingers on new sharp hairdressing scissors when trimming ends, but these are more like kitchen scissors. No risk of cutting yourself - they give you split ends, as you cut you can see the destroyed end it leaves behind like blunt scissors. Rubbish.

I'm not in love with these scissors, I would have wanted something longer and pointier, perhaps. I presently have another pair with black handles which are longer and pointier, ("Office Pro" is etched onto the side of the blade), and they work pretty good for my long hair, which I'm cutting myself by parting my hair as for pigtails, then bringing it all to the front and cutting across. This method is incredibly fast and easy and it doesn't give a clean line in the back once finished, and it doesn't give layers, but it's darned good for getting the right length with a decent V profile in back. So, for this method of cutting, straight across a large section of hair .... these scissors are a little small. I haven't tried them for this technique that I use, yet, because I just cut my hair recently, but I just know that these are on the small side for this technique. I see them more for adding layers and stuff like that. I really wanted to test them out, so I decided to cut little wispy sections at my ears and the middle of my forehead, and wow, these were fun to use for that because they're so darned sharp! I'm still keeping these because the quality is great and with great quality comes more potential, and so with use, I may switch to these as my main haircutting scissors or come up with new ways to use them, and then just use the pointy black ones for crafts. So that's my little haircutting story, and I really like these scissors, but wish they were offered in a larger size. I recommend them, though, because you can't go wrong with good quality. Also, if anyone's interested, they can be held up with a magnet. I have an array of cuticle scissors, toenail scissors, a nail file, etc., held up by magnets on the inside of my medicine cabinet and I just added these to the collection. They don't really hold strongly with the magnets I have, but they do hold. I know a lot of people say that stainless steel is not magnetic .... but I don't think that's true, at least in every case. My cuticle scissors (actually, curved embroidery scissors) are shiny and certainly stainless, and they hold the magnet very well. So anyway, my point is that you shouldn't let their moderate magneticness deter you from buying these, and you should consider their magnetic abilities to be a bonus. You could even store these in a drawer with a magnet attached to them, and add snap hair clips or duck billed metal hair clips to the magnet to use when cutting hair, and so all of your supplies would be held together in one bundle by the magnet. I do that with my snap clips and bobby pins, to keep them magically accessible and separated from the elastics and scrunchies.

I tried to use it for the first time but it’s completely useless. I tried to tighten it, more and more, but its so unsharp that it can’t cut hair or anything else either. I have never experienced such a bad scissor ever! Not even the cheapest scissors are this bad! I tried to sharpen it as well, but it didn’t help.
