BP-5 emergency food

Surprisingly tasty, high calorie emergency food. It will stop you eating your companions when lost in the Arctic wilderness and surrounded by wolves (at least until they run out). About 480 calories per bar.

I have tried most of the leading emergency ration bars, ie, Seven oceans /NRG 5/Datrex /Russian army biscuits etc. In my opinion these are the best all round. The 'biscuits' are a bit crumbly but actually taste very nice. A bit wheaty and with a reasonable amount of texture. It is fine to eat them dry (with care as they are VERY crumbly) and they're not too sweet nor do they leave a greasy feel in the mouth. I especially like to mix them with some warm water and make a sort of porridge mix (tastes a bit like dunked biscuits with a bit of oatmeal for texture! )and would probably be palatable to all age groups. Inside the outer box there is a vacuum sealed foil packet. Within that there are 9 bars, each containing 2 biscuits. These bars are wrapped in greaseproof paper, which is ,I feel, a healthier long term wrapping rather than the plastic used by the other manufacturers. (Except 7 Oceans who also use greaseproof paper). These rations also have a 15 year min. shelf life. Having handled many packets of these I have yet to come across one with a failed vacuum packaging, which is certainly an issue with some of the other brands.Having tried many others, and they're all different in various ways, my carefully considered opinion is that these are the clear winner.

Very happy 😊 I have finally bought myself emergency food in case of an emergency 🚨 or if I go hiking 🥾 or camping ⛺️ . I have not tasted it yet but I am tempted 😋 I might have to order another box. Anyway the way this world 🌍 is going, I think this should be a MUST BUY, before this world turns into a Mad Max , Zombie 🧟‍♂️ Apocalypse. You may laugh but we are in the Coronavirus Era . PS: I had to update this message to let you know I purchased another two boxes. I have 3 now, so now I’m TEMPTED to open a box and eat one now 😄😊 ........... ANOTHER UPDATE PEOPLE: Just opened one and tasted it, tastes ok it’s a bit sweet as well, and a little bit dry, I think it’s probably best to have it with a hot cuppa tea ☕️ to help wash it down. Not to sure how many bars or tablets you’re meant to eat per day. No instructions. They say that in the whole box there are 9 Bars, 500 grams, 10187 kJ, 2432 kcal. I would say that information is for the entire pack. If my understanding is correct then the entire contents of the pack would be sufficient for just one day or stretching it two days, that’s if you’re going by calorie intake. I’m not really sure, but I guess if I was in a really bad spot I would just have One Bar (Two tablets) per day. After all it is RATIONS 🤭

I researched these products and this one came out tops as a longlife survival biscuit so I went for them fast delivery.The use by on mine was 6/2022 but it is possible to keep in perfect conditions up to 30 years according to what I read. And being individualy wrapped in greaseproof paper inside an airtight foil wrapping will give very long life usage. 💯💯💯💯💯🐸
