The best looking compost bin available.
If, like me you care about the look of your compost bin then this is the one for you. My god its expensive but it is without question the best looking and probably the best quality bin I've seen, and trust me, I did a lot of looking. Its super simply in its design and operation. Im already talking myself into buying another one. It would be 5 stars if, other than the look and simplicity I could justify the price. It doesn't need to be so expensive. Also, if it helps. In the picture are two standard 240l bins and they are all sitting on three 600x600 slabs. *Update* I bought another! So, I had a little problem with the locking mechanism on the first one. I contacted Envirocyle and they sent me a new lid and locking mechanism very quickly and couldn't be more helpful. This, as well and the ease of use and simplicity encouraged me to buy another and to now give 5 stars instead of 4. Very happy.

Excellent composter
Although this composter seems expensive, I can’t recommend it enough. Sturdy easy to assemble and works really fast. Only had it a Month or so and compost coming along really well. Easy to spin/mix even for me with severe joint issues and it’s compact enough to keep near the kitchen door making emptying kitchen waste easy. Will be buying another, so we can have one ready and one on The go.

Good compost tea, rubbish (no pun intended) compost.
It's hard to believe that I've been using this for almost two and a half years and am only now writing a review. I'm usually much quicker than this. The reason I held off was to give this composter at least a year before commenting. I must admit I've always been a fan of the 2-bin composting method, the way my father used to do it – two open bins, one maturing, one being added to, but I don't have room in my present garden so opted for this. I followed all the advice, read and re-read the instructions, added what I should, omitted what I shouldn't, and a year later I got a bucketful of compost tea and a barrel of sodden mess. Okay, keep trying. Another year, another bucketful of compost tea, and more sodden mess but this time in dirty great lumps. I've tipped it out, broken it up and chucked it in my raied veggie bed where, hopefully, next year's spud crop will benefit. So far the positives are that it's relatively easy to operate, and the critters can't get in. It produces good liquid compost. The negatives? Didn't produce good compost. Not the easiest thing to empty. Far too expensive – I bought the smaller one, and to be honest I haven't recouped the cost in compost. On reflection I think I would have been saved myself a lot of money and effort if I'd just put all my compostable waste in the local council's recycling bin, and then bought a bag from them. Disappointing.

Interesting Product
Invested in one of these during lockdown as a science project for the kids (and me) and its worked well. If you feed the product to garden veg it gives a practical example of the organic cycle in quite a short space of time. Firstly the price - it's very overpriced. Especially as you really need two to alternate use. Considering compost was mainly made of uneaten supermarket veg mine was probably the most expensive compost created by man. Compost breaks down very quickly so it takes quite a long time to fill. Don't forget lots of 'browns'. It produces a relatively small amount of compost but a surprisingly large amount of compost tea which seems to do a good job of making the garden grow. I've spread it directly onto grass with no adverse effects. A couple of things which are worth pointing out are smell and hygiene. Promotional material pictures this on a balcony. You really do not want this anywhere close to a seating area or the house as it stinks. The abundant compost tea seems to need emptying every couple of weeks. If are not prepared to do this it will be running out of the bottom. Be carefully if spreading the compost tea on a herb garden, etc as this would probably be a fairly easy way to poison the family. Design is really good. Only improvements I could suggest would be. If you put it up against the wall and rotate it the door opens - bit of a learning curve thing here. Interior of compost tea collector seems to be baffled so its hard to fully empty it - best way to do this is to swing it around a bit but you are then spraying the toxic liquid around. Stopper on compost tea collector can cross thread and this would probably make it useless if it broke.

An expensive rotary composter for small gardens - very small and cute
The composter appears sturdy and rotates well - looks cute and takes up little room in an overcrowded small garden. There are nice touches such of the provision of extra plugs in case any of the base plugs are lost. However, it hasn't turned out compost in a couple of months as suggested and seems to turn the compost mix quite soggy despite me using a massive amount of 'browns' in comparison to fresh 'greens'. I'm learning how to compost with this new addition so some of this will be a learning issue, but don't expect this to work miraculously for the price.

VERY PRETTY IN PINK.
Very pretty in pink. My composter arrived and the lid was out of alignment and so will not fasten closed. cannot rotate it. Tried to reach customer services- through Amazon site but no joy. just machines which do not answer specific questions. main C S are in USA so I improvised. After two months of following instructions, I had a wet disgusting mess. would not recommend adding water. Difficult to rotate when full- lid pops open. Many designs flaw and practicality problems. difficult to access tea or compost if a disabled or elderly person. lift off heavy drum for emptying. Not much competition re- tumbling compost bins, so an over priced item. But it is pretty. Pretty but not perfect. rrived with lid out of alignment- so will not fasten shut, so have not rotated yet after 2 months. I am treating it as a pretty static compost pile. overly priced for what you get.

It's been about a month since I got my Envirocycle. I love it. Most important is, my first batch of compost is almost ready. I'm blown away by the functionality and ease of use. This is my 3rd composter. I gave the others away; I never got compost. I almost bypassed the Envirocycle because I thought I knew what I wanted. For weeks I researched composters, trying to find the best one for me; glad I didn't make another costly mistake. There are many, many reasons I chose the Envirocycle: The name, the Most beautiful Composter in the World made me laugh -- and that's what prompted me to look at it. I had been pondering a double, but, once I started reading about the Envirocycle, I realized I had almost made a 3rd mistake. According to reviews, some people had compost after a month -- so why would I need two small compartments when in the same amount of time, I'd have 35 gallons?! There is absolutely no assembly required. You take the two parts out of the box, set the tumbler part on top of the base... and you're done! The quality is amazing. It's BPA free and there's a 5-year warranty (with restrictions, but wow!) plus terrific customer service. I called upon them initially with questions and they couldn't have been more helpful, proving this company truly stands behind its products. We even had a good laugh together. I'm a puny senior and I have no problem turning the tumbler, or moving the composter around. Additionally, and oh so important to me is, I'll be able to use the Envirocycle all winter; and by springtime, I'll have compost already brewing for next year's planting. The latch is easy for me, too, as I can just push it open when my fingers hurt. I don't have to grab it like most people would do in order to open or close it. It also provides beautiful liquid gold. Because you can mix and match the drain plugs, the liquid can either remain in the tumbler, or, like I did, you can set it up to collect in the base to be used as needed. I've also decided that if I need to expand, it'll be with a second Envirocycle. Had I not found the Envirocycle, I don't know which other I would have chosen; none of the others actually met my requirements.

I bought it a while ago, but wanted to wait until I had completed a batch of compost before reviewing it. I just finished my first batch. Although it is a bit pricey, I would say it's well worth the cost. It's very solidly made, and is easy to turn on its base. The base holds a surprising amount of "compost tea". The latch was a little stiff at first, but loosened up with use. The drainage holes at the bottom of the tumbler may get clogged if the compost gets too wet; I used a wooden BBQ skewer to clear them. One thing I wish I had thought of at the outset was to set the base on a layer of bricks. If the base rests directly on the ground, it's hard to fit any sort of container under the spout to catch the compost tea. Once the tumbler starts to fill up, it can get heavy enough to be difficult to move off the base to fully drain it. My area had a very wet spring, so sometimes the base completely filled. Tumblers in general tend to retain water well, so I had to watch the moisture level, and sometimes add more brown material (paper, cardboard, etc) to soak up excess water. The recommended ratio of green to brown material in the product instructions is the inverse of what I'd seen almost everywhere else. Most places recommend 1/4 to 1/3 green material, the rest brown; the products instructions recommended the opposite. The product's recommended ratio is geared to quicker composting. If you do a more traditional ratio, it will generally take longer to finish. I bought this in late March, and my first batch finished in late June. I also added a little at a time, putting in each week's kitchen scraps, etc rather than doing one big batch and leaving it alone. Doing it small amounts will often take longer to get a finished batch over one big load. Also, don't be surprised if you get clumps or chunks, especially if you've had a lot of rain lately. I read in some composting forums that the tumbling action tends to make it form little balls rather than a finer texture. I didn't need any starter at the outset, but I did use some to kickstart the batch again after a cold spell early in the spring. I do recommend getting a compost thermometer so you can tell when the pile may have gone dormant. (It looks like a meat thermometer, but with a longer stem so it can reach into the center of the pile.) Overall, this tumbler is great for urban settings where you don't have space for a traditional bin or pile, and small households that don't produce large volumes of compostable material each week. Hope this review helps, and that you get a good batch of compost for your garden.

Excelente producto, mi padre está feliz con el. Vivimos en clima cálido así que también ayuda. En 3 semanas ya teníamos composta lista para usarse.
