Arrived a day early! Simple Install. Runs great.
This Rinnai tankless is awesome. Delivery was a DAY EARLY !!!! Wow. Somebody needs to check Amazon's temperature? Do they have a fever? They are often late but NEVER early ... until now. KEEP IT UP! The Rinnai installed easily and runs perfect. It booted right up .. I set the temp .. it ran. Perfect match to the KISS system. I give Rinnai a huge credit for keeping it simple.

Great water heater.
Bought and installed this a week ago. Had no problems with it but I highly recommend that if you are going to purchase, itโs not a plug and play even rinnai to rinnai. Set your gas line in first and then replumb the water lines. It makes it a lot easier.

Perfect solution
I have, as DIY, installed three of these. First one was kinda scary, but worked out. It was in a guest house and is oversized for one sink and one shower. Second one is in the home I live in now, with kitchen sink, two bath vanities, and walk-in shower, with laundry. It won't run all four at full open, but shower, dishes, and laundry simultaneous is OK. We have ground water about 45 in winter, central high desert NV. Installation is actually pretty easy, once you understand that the flue pipe includes both outside air inlet, and exhaust outlet. So the pipe has to be their brand, but has no clearance requirements to speak of. The flue output isn't even really hot to bare hand, because the unit delivers all the energy into the water. It does require a nearby outlet, but electric codes will differ about whether it needs its own circuit. Mine shares an outlet with a propane dryer, combined electric use is within 20 amp outlet capacity easily. If I wasn't installing electric myself in the same house already, I wouldn't hesitate to just plug it in to a 15 amp 120v outlet. All it takes is a 4 inch hole in your outside wall, the plumbing valve kit for flushing, and proprietary flue pipe. No water drain needed. Makes a peaceful rushing sound when heating, but it is not as loud as the nearby tumbler dryer, for comparison sake. I have done three, all work flawlessly, and am planning a fourth soon for another guest house. One beware, the output water temp is limited to 120F as far as I can tell.

Not reliable! And hard to troubleshoot
Bad unit, keeps failing intermittently and they have no direct support, so have to keep calling plumbing services who try different things with their support but nobody had been able to fix it properly. I am just wasting money trying to fix! I would buy a different manufacturer!
