Exactly as described great retro gift good value

Purchased this for my 3 year old grandson and he is fascinated by it. I wasn't sure if he would find it as interesting as I did as a child with so many high tech toys that are around now but he loves it. It looks very authentic, very similar to one I had and is excellent value for money. Hopefully it will stand up to his less than gentle treatment.

Fabulous '1950s' style of kaleidoscope - just beautiful. Great value, a lovely solid thing - does what it says on the 'tin'!!

I bought this for my 4 year old grandson as a novelty gift really. I've given it only 4 stars because it's not half as wonderful as the ones we used when I was a child, many years ago. I find it disappointing that things that were great then are copied over and made less well these days, while we have technology and other things which far surpass the imagination. I know this is only a kaleidescope but it surely could've been made to be more exciting. A similar review stated that the patterns don't change like they old ones and they were right. It's nice enough and did provide some interest to be fair.

Bought as a gift for a three year old - he loves it!

I wanted a kaleidoscope for each of my girls and have looked around the shops for one. They are either made of cardboard or plastic and very flimsy in design. When these arrived and I opened them, I was immediately transported back to my own childhood. I had one almost identical to these!! The colours in it are amazing. The end piece turns very easily. They are exactly the right size for little hands to hold. The tin is very durable and can handle being dropped and knocked about (as can happen). I cant wait to give them to my girls for christmas. (Im sure mine was even the same colour!). Great product.

I was impressed for the money. Clear, colourful and feels strong not flimsy at all. Quality! The eye hole has a clear plastic cover inside so little fingers cannot be poked in (problem with old fashion kaleidoscopes). Wonderful to see kids enchanted by this in the age of iPads!

It's OK. A bit overpriced for the £6 I paid but ..Mmm. I would have been happier with this if the coloured beads inside had been more colourful and varied. they all appear just a bit ..Dull and tired. But, the item itself is fine. No dents, scratches, etc.

Got it for my 3 y/o grandbaby as part of a gift along with other things. It’s a good size for small kids. It has different colored and shaped beads that make the shapes in the kaleidoscope. Can’t wait for her to open it.

le kaléidoscope de mon enfance! acheté en deux exemplaires, pour offrir. il a beaucoup plus à la maman de l'enfant à qui je le destinais! elle ne connaissait pas (maman d'origine étrangère). il est en métal, assez solide puisque mes trois monstres n'ont pas encore réussi à le casser. il est tout simple mais ce sont les choses les plus simples qui sont les plus sympas. à offrir à nos enfants pour leur rappeler qu'il n'y a pas que les consoles dans la vie, mais qu'il y a aussi des jouets simples et magiques...

Es el ideal por los colores vibrantes del objeto y porque tiene muchas piezas brillantes y bonitas que forma múltiples diseños e imágenes súper coloridas. La niña lo miraba e investigaba, despertaba su curiosidad moviéndolo y sacudiéndolo, y lo observaba por ambos lados, es genial para crearles una autonomía y que lo manejen y perciban como les de la gana. Un regalo ideal para niños y niñas!
