Organic Herbal Hair Dye in Strawberry Blonde 110g

Much better than expected! I was a little sceptical about how good a natural dye would be but have such a bad reaction to peroxide and chemicals i thought I'd try it. The smell is gorgeous, earthy and rich, the consistency is thick like greek yogurt but goes on easily enough with gloved hands. The most alarming part was the colour- swamp green when mixed and applied and I was so scared I was going to go to work on Monday looking Halloween ready. It was fine, the green rinsed off to a beautiful strawberry blonde that covered all the greys. I left it on for an hour but will leave for a bit longer next time.

It smells like overpowering grassy tea, it feels like clay and has turned my usually strawberry blonde hair green, made my hair dry and frizzy and clogged my shower drain. Waste of money

I absolutely love this product. My hair is glossy and shiny and doesn’t fade. I find it easy to apply and there are a few different ways to apply the paste. When applying I find it easier to apply to combed damp sections and prefer it a little loose so it reaches the scalp. It doesn’t dye my scalp either or towels I have used. I also buy direct from Its Pure. The colours are stunning. My favourite thing about it is it’s completely chemical free and does the job perfectly. Tip remove all silicones and conditioners first. I shampoo, then dye, then rinse and condition. Highly recommend.

Not sure if my hair was too dark but this did not take at all - I used the strawberry blonde colour, I’m a natural light strawberry blonde with highlights and this did nothing ? It did make my hair extensions very dark though? But more brown than ginger, disappointing - I will try the auburn soon

Have used once on my pale red hair. I was a bit nervous about using red on red plus the henna powder is green. Mixed to a yoghurty consistency so applying to hair was pretty messy so I advise that this is used in shower or bath. I left on for the minimum time (20 to 25 minutes) and I am pleased with the results. No change in my hair colour but my hair looks brighter and softer and shinier. I will use again with greater confidence next week. As this henna is in powder form, you do not have to use it all at once and I think it will last 3 or 4 applications.

I”ve dyed my hair with this, my hair was bleached and it didn”t take the chemical colour anymore, so I gave It”s pure a try. I was amazed how well the colour went into my hair and what a beautiful it turned out. the colour hasn”t wash out and I re-dyed it 4 weeks after in order to saturate the hair with the natural colour. Afterwards I chemical treat it again with a slightly darker colour (L”oreal Casting 743) and the colour stayed beautifully in my hair. I would have kept continue using the it”s pure hair dye but my roots are level 5 to 6 and I want my hair a little bit lighter than that. But this natural hair dye literally saved my hair from a bleaching it again and the fiber looks and feels much stronger than before. You can see in the picture the result of the It”s pure first application. The before colour was a bleached light not very nice blond.

I really like the effect it has on my hair. It improves both colour and condition of my hair. The only downside of this product is that it’s pretty messy to apply. But of course this is to be expected from a henna-like natural product as it’s like mud on the hair, and it’s hard to get it back off. This isn’t a criticism but an observation. I’ve used it twice now and will definitely use it again.
