Product comes with no instructions for use.
I was mislead by the description of this product, which should emphasize "THIS IS NOT A BATTERY CHARGER." Once I realized it was too strange looking to be a wall-mounted charger (what I thought I was getting), upon studying the description it became clear it simply allowed the battery to be connected to another 20V consuming device. If that's what you need, this will do fine.

Great product. Ived used these for everything from powering flashlights or on dirtbikes without headlights . Also makes for a great battery for a powerwheels more power and even longevity. Just be careful cause if you leave say an led light on it will drain your battery to low to charge anymore so id recommend changing them out once they hit 2 bars
