Permanent Hair Colour Gel 7N Hazelnut Blonde, Plant Enriched, Biobased, Ammonia Free, Long Lasting Grey Coverage and Radiant Colour, Nourishment and Protection

First time I've coloured my hair myself, i usually get highlights at the hairdressers. I did a sample test of another high street brand and had a reaction and read that this brand was less likely to cause a reaction. Which was true, test was fine. My roots were growing out and too many greys! This was very easy to use although I had help from hubby and I'm super happy with the result. It's done a good job covering the greys. Looks slightly red on my hair but that could be due to the highlights underneath! But I actually love the red tint. I'd definitely buy again.

My review is based on 7N Hazelnut Blond. Easy to use and the box comes with everything you need including gloves. I applied the mixture and combed it though for even coverage, then wrapped my head in cling film and left it on for 40 minutes. I wasn't expecting the greys to all be covered but they were. The colour looked nice although it was darker than I expected, not so much blonde as hazelnut, hence my 4 star rating and not 5. Having said that, I'd use the same colour again because it does cover grey & looking at some of the reviews for the lighter colours they don't seem to fare so well. You don't have to use this for the whole head, there are instructions if you just want to do a root touch-up. Update: The leaflet in the box says that for BEST GREY HAIR COVERAGE use the Natural N shades, Mahoganies M or coppers C. Check the FAQ if you're not sure as there's lots of information for grey hair coverage as well as the mixing of colours. Update update: I also tried 8A Ash Blonde: Lovely colour and covers grey very well. Having said that I did leave the colour on for 40 minutes. I've recently tried 8N Wheatgerm Blond which is a lovely colour and covers grey 100%. Not as dark as the Hazelnut Blonde. NATURAL (N) shades are perfect if you wish to keep your natural tone. ASH (A) shades will add a cool tone to your hair and are ideal for counteracting 'brassiness'.

Absolutely brilliant product ty so much, it's kind to my scalp, easy to apply, no stinging, and back to my original hair colour.

First time I tried, over previously highlighted hair. I needed to cover grey roots and get an even colour and this did it perfectly. Comes with gloves and instructions (standard) but also with shapoo, condirioner and hair care sachets that add that little bit. Very happy with my result (apparently the 'N' letter in the colour name indicates natural result, I had one of those without knowing).

when i bought it i was happy with the reviews but i wasn't expected so much especially with my black hair which i used different brands before john fried foam , l'oral , garnier and all was the result just a shade of colour may appear with light directly before applying it i thought to go agin through the reviews and i was terrified with one or two reviews who had a bad allergy & one of them put pictures to her face all swollen ,& others write about the bad petrol ingredient inside it, i decided i will take the risk as it wasn't the first time to colour my hair i don't now i why i did that but i did it , the results was its gave my hair a noticeable colour not light of course like the one on the box but a colour i saw it once i rinse my hair , it didn't fry my hair my hair is still fine but i don't know if I'm going to buy it again I'm not happy by the chemical ingredients effect inside it even if it will be on the long run for the white hair it covered it i don't have much so may be another review about this point can better

I’ve been using this product for years and have always found it very good.

This is the only brand I use but I don't usually use this colour, however it was the only one available on Prime that was close enough to the usual colour I buy. So it's good but I really needed the other colour. Get more colours in stock amazon!

I really wanted to champion this product as its more natural and vegan, but sadly after applying this as a full head treatment, which I left on for 40 minutes, most of the product has washed out today, the first wash. I'm so disappointed. I wanted to even hair colour as my roots were down to my ears, now back to square one. I would NOT recommend this product. Wasted my time and money.

Having colored my hair for years with harsh chemicals, I was looking for something gentler to restore some shine as well as cover my stubborn grays. I bought this after reading the positive reviews and decided to try it. First of all, my hair is shoulder length and fine textured. The natural color is dark blonde with significant gray at the temples. I usually pull red when coloring, so I chose the 7N to avoid any additional brassiness. The hair color was unusually scented, not chemically, but not botanical either. It was thin and clear, even after processing for ten minutes, so I was a little concerned that there appeared to be no color development. After a total of 40 minutes processing, I washed my hair according to instructions and conditioned it with the packet included. (It should be noted that the conditioner is among the best I have ever used. I absolutely loved it.) The results were beautiful. All of my gray was covered, something that the salon is not always able to do. The color was glossy and natural looking, although I did pull a little red as I usually do. All in all, this is a good product thus far. I did not have the burning, itching scalp as with other hair coloring, and the initial results have been beautiful. I will update my review as I see how the color lasts into the next few weeks.

Absolutely love this shade and brand. The color is exactly as pictured and it blends away the gray in a very natural looking way. I was so pleased to not have the awful smell or burning scalp that I get with other box color and this one really lasts. I have used it twice and have had no surprise colors, even over blonde highlights. I would avoid using the included shampoo, it made my hair feel awful, but the conditioner works well. Also, be aware that this does contain peroxide and can lighten your hair. I actually went from dark brown to the dark blonde shade on the box after the first use in 40 minutes. I will continue to purchase!
