My original drain guard blew away during a storm a few months back, so leaves had all started to gather in the drain, so needed a replacement. A lot of others I'd looked at looked very flimsy, but had already got a drain pipe hole already cut out, right in the centre. Whoever installed the side gutter in our house, never thought of keeping things all neat and tidy as it's all off centre, so none of those would do.This one was perfect as enabled me and my trusty handsaw to cut out the rightsize pipe hold, in exactly the right position. I even kept the little flap when I cut, so didn't remove it completely so that tucks behind the pipe keeping it all in place and it's not blowing off anywhere!Made of a good sturdy plastic too and doesn't feel cheap and hoping this lasts a good few years.

I liked the fact that it is made sufficiently thin enough for me to cut to a shape that neatly fitted around the two pipes that feed into the drain. I was able to do this with three drains and with a bit of care and a sharp Stanley blade it looks to fit really well. Being quite thin It may not last so long but at the price I think it’s well worth a try.

I bought two covers as an experiment for one drain. They fit quite well side by side but not perfectly, and I cut a section out of one cover to allow room for the downpipe. There were no problems in cutting the plastic. They have the virtue of being inexpensive, but are perhaps flimsy. To what extent they will shift their position over time remains to be seen.

Bought this to fit in with awkward downpipes, worked a treat, just used a small hacksaw to cut to shape. Very pleased

Best thing about this cover is that can be cut to size. The plastic is no so bad like others complaint about it. I am very happy with this
