I am a student of accredited Human Nutrition degree and we use various professional equipment for body composition readings at the university. I have tested this scale against our very expensive bio-impedance scale and they both have pretty similar readings, which only shows that this is a good quality personal body composition scale! Obviously, there will always be differences in results from various body composition methods as the perfect method wasn't discovered yet, except post mortem tissue analysis! So far, bio-impedance methods are highly accurate and good indicator of where you stand. This scale is very easy to use and the fact that you can connect it to your phone is pretty awesome! The value is also great, I can only recommend!

Really good scales for a good price, the free app is great and links to the scales so you can track your weight, BMI, body fat and exercise ect. Screen on scales is also very clear and easy to read.

The scale is great. It's a good size for women and children. For a bigger man I'd probably buy the bigger size. Although my partner is using it and it shows results but it just looks a bit small when he steps on it with his size 13 feet 😂 The app is great and easy to use and install. The scale connects to the phone effortlessly. So easy to use. The statistics are helpful and you can set goals and see many different statistics. I love the period tracking feature. It's very useful and women can track symptoms and flow as well as days of the period.

Great scales, easy to use, just simply download the 'Renpho App' on your phone, to track & manage your weight goals + BMI - it is not one of those scandalous 'subscription-only' services, where you have to pay to use the app, sometimes after a stupid trial... Came in perfect, flawless condition - well packaged. I was slightly apprehensive, as there were some concerns about the glass shattering during transit - as a lot of packages become damaged (in varying degrees of severity). I don't usually purchase scales, but this one caught my eye, as it has great features, is glass + metal, not a plastic body/shell (only for the battery housing) - it is sleek and modern-looking; somewhat stylish - certainly not out of place. Can be stored away very easily, if required. It is reasonably weighted - just like a small piece of tempered glass(?)... The batteries seem to last forever, which is great! It is considerably easy to calibrate - via one-step function, all you need to do is apply pressure with one foot briefly and release to initiate the Calibration sequence, it will Stat "CAL", then flash a couple of times " -- -- " and then display " 00.00 ", which means it is calibrated & ready... If you have your Bluetooth 'On'/Enabled on your Phone, it will automatically connect & immediately send & sync your results to your phone to be saved/logged & synced + will tell you how much weight + BMI you have lost/gained since last time (plus comparisons & how much progress you have made/lost on your personalised, custom goals) - in addition to displaying your Weight & BMI on the digital scales (at your feet). (It is advised to measure your weight "barefoot"). You can quickly set up your profile on the app with personal/tailored goals/plans to suit your lifestyle, wants & capabilities. It is a versatile application with many features that can keep you motivated! It will provide REALISTIC deadlines for the goals you set - which is calculated from the exact information you input for each statistic... Like weight, age, height, habits - diet - calorific intake, your daily/weekly/monthly exercise routine/s, current rituals, cardiac rhythm/bpm, etc... It can only offer realistic, tailored goals & expectations based solely upon the information that you have provided! (No need to lie to AI). You will receive a comprehensive estimation as to when/how long it 'could' take for you to realistically reach near/achieve your, tangible, goals - specifically based on the details you provide, as long as you stick to a persistent, unwavering plan and don't give up! The display on the scale itself is extremely visible/easy to read, with it's distinctive bright Red-coloured graphics, on a dark background, that make it conveniently suitable for most eyesight conditions, with it's discernible clarity and contrasted digits/characters/font. I feel incredibly stable when standing on these scales, there is no concern there whatsoever; stepping on/off with one foot + all your weight on one side still does not cause it to destabilise or become unbalanced under uneven weight - it distributes weight across it's 4 feet rather well and is a considerable contender when it comes to viable, efficient scales. I have had absolutely no issues with the Bluetooth connection, as it is quick & automatic (after the first time connecting/pairing manually) - my phone has never not connected automatically, whenever the Bluetooth is on - even if other devices are connected to my phone, it still manages to pick up the information rapidly (sometimes I forget my Bluetooth is on and get surprised with the results on my phone!). When testing the efficacy of the accuracy, I have found them to be rather, shockingly, precise! No issues when it comes to overall reliability + function*. *(But, as with ANY other electronic device, you must allow for some slight inaccuracies/miscalculations - after all, there is a probability of minor radio/electrical interference, when using anything digital and some components may be minimally flawed/biased and/or altered, due to magnetic fields... These are just a few examples of possible factors to consider when taking a reading - not to say it is certain & happens every time, but just be mindful). Mostly every reading has been respectfully accurate, so not any real reason to discredit it's efficacy - there have only been a total of 1 or 2 readings in roughly 4 months, that were only a fraction out of calibration (quickly rectified). In conclusion, this is a fantastic product, that is incredibly cheap but also of such a high-quality, almost premium, standard, that it seemed 'hard to believe' in it's entirety, at first, but, I can say for certain that these are an absolute bargain of a deal! They are the only scales I will ever need from now on... seriously, a great bit of kit! ***(UPDATE)*** I have noticed that the brand-new batteries did NOT last as long as I expected... I thought they would last up to 1 year but had hardly used the scales - maybe once-a-day for about 2 weeks and then once every few days to once a week/month, for about 3 months - mostly not even used and only used for approximately 1 minute (Max.) each time (including calibration) - and only synced to my phone at the start and then 3 more times... The batteries just died suddenly, with minimal usage, which is odd as I have devices that use MUCH more power + are still being used now! (Duracell)... But I did leave it for a good while without being able to use it due to hospital... But am using it every 2 days now and it's fine. ***

Perfect for my purposes and reasonably priced. Attractive and easy to use.

simple to setup, connects to the phone via bluetooth very easy, and if you forget your phone, can still be used as a "dumb" scale, its anazing how well it seems to track all the extra measurments (body fat bone density body water bmi skeletal muscle protien ect) easy to read with a bright clear screen

Brilliant product. Can't get over the price! Took less than a minute to set up. So much information about body metrics. I have had three Withings scales and this is better. Seems well made. Looks good. I am very happy!

After obsessing for weeks about whether to buy a $200+ smart scale or the RENPHO at literally one tenth of the cost of the expensive scales, I decided that I would take a chance on RENPHO. This scale did, after all, make everyone's list of best scales as the best budget option. My only reservation was that I am a Garmin Connect user, and there was no way to directly upload data from the scale to my Garmin account. So far, I am very happy with the RENPHO. Setup with the RENPHO app was super-easy, and I was recording my weight and body composition in no time, and the data seem to be accurate. As far as connecting the data to my Garmin account, I was unable to implement a free GitHub application for syncing data from RENPHO to Garmin. I have some technical skills, but implementing the app was too difficult. So, I decided to purchase a subscription to a service for syncing to Garmin. The setup for that service was not exactly straightforward, as you have to first sync the data to Fitbit and then to Garmin, and there are sometimes delays in the syncing. But it does work satisfactorily. If Garmin ever upgrades its current S2 smart scale, I may switch over, but, for now, I am quite happy with the RENPHO scale.

Design & Verarbeitung: Die Waage wirkt modern und hochwertig verarbeitet. Sie passt optisch gut ins Badezimmer und nimmt nicht viel Platz weg. Vorteile: + Sehr übersichtliche und informative App + Schnelle Synchronisation + Viele hilfreiche Körperwerte + Modernes Design und einfache Bedienung Fazit: Eine wirklich gelungene Körperfettwaage mit großem Funktionsumfang. Gerade die Kombination aus Waage und übersichtlicher App macht das Ganze sehr angenehm im Alltag. Für alle, die ihre Werte regelmäßig verfolgen möchten, absolut empfehlenswert.

Setup was a breeze - just install the app, connect via Bluetooth, and you’re good to go in under 2 minutes. What really stands out is the amount of data it provides beyond just weight - body fat %, muscle mass, water %, metabolic age, and more. It syncs effortlessly with the app and helps me track my progress over time in a very clear and visual way. It looks sleek in the bathroom, feels sturdy, and handles multiple users without confusion.
