Paint smells and stain won't come off, even after boiling and cleaning with detergent for days and weeks. I couldn't use it since then because I don't know which chemicals used may contain hazardous health risks . Also the top and base are not welded you can see clearly are machine pressed and the chemicals are coming out from underneath.

Design is not good. It's hard to pour water as the water accumulates in the belly before leaving the pot. The design makes the user twist his hand more to pour thr water from the pot... Not recommended.

耳が少し悪くなってきた母がやかんに火を点けたまま忘れて空焚きしはじめたので笛吹きケトルを探し、2.3リットルを購入しました。 ホイッスルはピーーー！と高音でそれなりに音が出ます。激しい音のときもあればフィーー！とかすれる時もある。それでも同じ部屋にいれば聞こえます。 思ったよりケトル本体が大きく、ハンドルと注ぎ口が太い。注ぎ口は位置が高いので、けっこう傾ける必要があるので低いテーブルに置いた器に注ぐなら良い。 取手が固定されていないとのレビューを見た気がするが少なくとも2.3リットルは固定です。蓋は開けやすい。お洒落だし気に入っています。 流石にもっと高齢の祖母には大きさや重さなどから向かない印象。

It's ok. Build quality is not great but not bad either, somewhere in the middle. The handle came loose after a year or so, which I think should not happen that soon. For the rest it's decent and does the job.
