JMBricklayer Pirate Ship Building Set for Adults, 4364 PCS

This set was fun to build, lots of details, and I was missing a few pieces but I emailed the address on the box and they sent over the parts I needed for free. I wish you could access the cabin easier to see the pipe organ inside, but that’s not a big deal The sails were tricky to put on but easier than similar ships, and the ropes were tedious as well. Took ten hours to build across a few days The stand that it sits on is a nice feature, displays the ship well the price is fantastic as well

This a great build very challenging but fun directions are not hard to understand great details ect

My 13 year old grandson is a Lego ship builder. We ran thru the available Legos and found this excellent pirate ship. I Was convcerned about fit and finish. I should not have worried. Shipping was good, this is a recommended model. Parts all fit as well as any Lego. Instructions are pictograms like others he has put togerther. I like the "pirate ship" look and feel of this one as well as the detail of the finished model.

The blocks would not stay together. I eventually threw it in the trash and never finished all the steps. It became very frustrating to try to put previous steps back together as they fell off while putting the next step on.

Pros: priced reasonably, lots of detail Cons: instructions are poor. Several times I had to skip a piece because it didn’t fit with the instructions given. Some pieces didn’t smoothly fit together. Also was missing two pieces and there aren’t really any extras provided like the original company does. Overall you get what you pay for. Not sure I would buy this brand again.

This was bought for my adult daughter. Despite her ADD, she stayed focused and enjoyed putting this together. She proudly has it displayed in her room!

Very disappointing. The pieces are good quality but the design, in my opinion lacked stability at the bow. I must have reattached the bow piece a dozen times at least. In the end I finished the rest of the ship, leaving the bow 80% unfinished. Another annoying thing was that several types of pieces had to be pre assembled (eg tiny stud pieces had to be attached) The instructions were missing the final steps for assembling the stand. I will not be buying from this brand again.

After spending 15hours building this ship it still falls apart. You almost have to glue every piece together as you build. Lego is definitely a better product than this brand. Very dissatisfied.

The display picture of the set did not match the actual build. Different colour of pieces and some not even included with set/ in instructions. A lot of pieces did not properly fit together and could barely stay in place. Had to omit them in the final display because they would not stay together. Pieces were not properly organized into the bags specified in the instructions. Looks cool, but not really worth the frustration.

This thing is huge, all pieces present. Quality, as good or better than 'L'. One mast, the top (tip) is deformed, but this part is in the crow's nest so in reality you tend to want to trim off the tip of the masts inside the crows nest to give more room anyways. One railing was dark brown instead of light brown but who cares. The ship is supposed to extremely decrepit!

Really good build but not for kids. Some pieces were very difficult to put together. Some missing pieces but the company is sending them.

Used as a graduation gift. This will provide hours of non stressful fun.
