Utopia Crafts Velvet Lux Chenille Yarn 100g (Sky Blue)

Great brand at a competitive price. This isn’t as soft as some chenille (eg king Cole) but it’s still really nice to work with, and isn’t super prone to shedding. Like all chenille it’s not the easiest to frog, but I have been able to. A 5mm hook works up lovely amigurumi

The yarn is lovely I’m making a jumper, but the box arrived very torn and damaged and one of the balls had fallen out, so now I might not have enough wool to finish the jumper, there was a slit in the box big enough for the ball to fall out, I’m lucky I only lost one, I’ve never had a box in such a bad state, looks like it had been jumped up and down on and ripped, but I would give the wool five stars. I crochet jumpers using single stitch and they are super warm. Lots of compliments from others. Utopia crafts are good I’ve had lots from them in different colours. Will order again.

I got the light brown colour. This yarn is super soft and I love the colour. I’ve been crocheting a bunny with it. The colour is like a light coffee colour and it’s really nice. It’s pretty easy to crotchet with but sometimes if you frog it some of the fluff will come off. One thing I did notice is that it’s tied together in a knot half way through but that didn’t affect my use. Overall I really like it and I love how soft it is.

This particular shade is the smooth, none breaking wool, I love from this company. Easy to crochet and knit with. Other shades don’t seems as good. I have ordered another ball to see if the quality continues.

Beautiful yarn, so soft and fluffy. Smooth as butter going through stitches. It’s fab, Used it to make a hot water bottle cover; turned out beautiful. Definitely recommend & will be purchasing a lot more in the future!

Despite yarn being very soft, lots of it had sections of yarn missing which made working with it incredibly difficult & time consuming having to rejoin fresh yarn.

Beautiful colour but sheds its fluff what a pity it isnt a bit stronger ive used it but its hard work trying to sew things together if you can crochet it in one piece tge end product is good

Lovely item. Really thick beautiful quality perfect for crochet or knitting. Feels gorgeous. Looks stunning. Unlikely to split. It’s a really good heavy quality

I bought this as I have used similar wool to great success in the past for crochet projects. Unfortunately this blue wool broke so badly and often that the crochet fell apart, basic attempts at sewing led to lots of fluff and breakages. Would not recommend this at all.

Top Wolle, super zum Kuscheltiere häkeln

Enttäuschende Qualität! Ich habe diese Wolle für ein Projekt gekauft, aber sie ist absolut unbrauchbar. Bereits beim Verarbeiten löst sich die Wolle auf und franst extrem aus. Das Material ist so instabil, dass man keine Freude am Basteln oder Stricken hat. Es macht den Eindruck, als würde die Wolle schon beim Ansehen kaputtgehen. Für den Preis habe ich viel mehr erwartet. Auf dem Foto kann man gut erkennen wie sie sich wärend dem verabeiten auseinander zieht. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen, besonders für Projekte, die eine stabile Verarbeitung erfordern!
