Directions Mix with shrimp for cocktail, or combine with olive oil, honey, and garlic for a steak/chicken marinade. Review: The one and only - There is nothing like Heinz cocktail sauce for your shrimp cocktail - if you have tried this, you understand. Best is to add some fresh horseradish and you then have the complete American experience - like dining in a fine seafood restaurant in Dan Francisco or New York. Review: For sea/Food it's amazing - For your prawns lobster fish it's gorgouse worth the money expensive but the taste it's great

The Real Thing!
Accept no substitutes, this is the real thing, exactly like you'd get with jumbo shrimp in a US restaurant! Excellent!

Good except for sweetener additive
This great product is ruined by using glucose fructose as an ingredient it is about time this cheap additive was banned

OK, but a little bland
I was hoping this might be a bit zingier. Tasted more like ketchup than cocktail sauce. It was OK, but not great.

Fortunately it is good
This is the only American prawn cocktail sauce I can find. Fortunately it is good. Sometimes I get tired of the English prawn sauce as it is a little boring. Besides the cost, the only complaint I have is the Heinz version of the American sauce is just a little too sweet for my liking as I prefer a sharper tangier taste. But I still buy it as it is a trusted product!

Fresh, well packaged, and tastes great
Heinz Cocktail Sauce is a tried-and-true classic that consistently delivers a flavorful and tangy experience. Its signature blend of ketchup, horseradish, and spices strikes the perfect balance between sweet and spicy. It's ideal for shrimp cocktail, crab legs, and other seafood appetizers. The familiar Heinz bottle is easy to handle and store.

Acceptable if you aren't big on Cocktail sauce
I don't personally have much occasion to buy cocktail sauce. To me this particular brand is on the spicy side maybe for horseradish as an ingredient or something. I didn't read the list of ingredients on the bottle. If you notice, some pricier brands that manufacture cocktail sauce in small batches maybe that might affect the cost, maybe high overhead, the desire for higher profit as perhaps they don't sell much of it so the demand or lack of it affects the price idk. So is it a good value? To me is because I use it very liberally if ever a few times a year. Compared to the kind you find directly in front of you or off to one side or the other in the fresh fish and seafood section of grocery stores. If they use more horseradish than Heinz brand, then I am glad I didn't pay more for costlier brands as Heinz here contains more than I prefer so it doesn't make sense for me to pay more for something I don't even like or use much for the horseradish content. Opinions will vary with individual tastes. Me, I am okay with this even though I am not big on spicy fare.
