The size of the rattle was appropriate for a six month old in my opinion. Good size. Rain sound. Not too heavy. Probably safer and softer than the ones made about 40 years ago. But hopefully as enjoyable as children found them then. Have not seen the recipient with the rainmaker. But it seems to be OK for the needs of teething babies learning how to coordinate their movements. Could also be helpful when directing attention, distracting a fussy baby, or helping students and children discover the relationship between cause and effect. Great for listening games. Where's the sound? Of course someone would be the one shaking the hidden rainmaker. Good for home and daycare or preschool as a student or sibling or neighbor or relative gets to hide the rainmaker. Reasonably priced.

My son seems to like it. He’s 6.5 months old and it keeps him entertained for a few minutes before having to move onto the next thing! I thought the price point was decent as it seems like it is good quality. The “rainfall” noise isn’t loud or annoying. It is a good size and easy for him to handle and play with on his own.

Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and my little one (3mo) seemed to be really engaged with watching and listening to the beads fall as I turned it. There’s three fun spinning wheels in the center that the beads rotate through as they fall, creating an added layer of sensory play with this toy. I love how colorful the toy is on the inside, and really like the wooden side pieces. The sides are more aesthetically pleasing and give the toy a refined, quality appearance, in my opinion. However, I will say that where the sides connect to the center plastic piece and are a little wiggly, which can be seen at the end of the video. I don’t mind it and tested to see if they were too loose (they weren’t), but it would be good to be aware of. The product is a little taller and wider than I had thought. It’s a perfect size for my hands but may be a little large for small hands. My little one is not yet playing with toys herself so the size of the toy is not a concern for me currently. I would recommend this toy for fun sensory play with your little ones!

We got this rainmaker to help our 3.5-month-old start practicing her grasp—and she’s fascinated by the bright colors and gentle rain sound! She can’t hold it on her own yet, but loves watching and trying to reach for it. It’s well-made, smooth, and safe to explore with supervision. A perfect early sensory toy she’ll grow into over the next few months!

I gave this to my new great niece for Christmas. Her parents loved it and of course everyone seems to love a wooden toy.

Although this is colorful and has noise and motion, my granddaughter is not very interested in it.

Estan muy bien acabados evitando asi que el niño se pueda dañar si por ejemplo se los lleva a la boca o se frote con ellos. Aunque la madera no es el mejor de los materiales para evitar golpes
