For use where UV-fast labels are required
Whatever the technology used, most thermally printed labels whether on paper or tape will eventually fade under the effects of UV light. Indoors, this may be a limited problem but outdoors it could be an issue. For example, I had recently purchased some young garden shrubs that will be planted out next spring when they will be a little more mature. All used thermally printed paper labels stuck to a plastic tag for identification and every one had faded to oblivion within a couple of weeks, and not only in bright sunlight. I did not then have the Rhino labeller and although I have a standard Dymo machine taking D1 tapes, there is no metallic or known UV-safe option for that machine. I had to retrieve an old Dymo embossed tape labeller for which I still have a few tapes and which had been unused for years from the depths of a box room as a temporary, partial solution - the text size is way too large, they can be erratically printed and may also not be UV-safe.The metallic finished polyester tapes from the Rhino range are said to be UV-safe. Available in several widths and suited for most if not all Rhino machines, they are not unduly expensive and will be ideal for this purpose. It is far too early to say just how long these labels will last when used outdoors and exposed long-term to natural UV.As with all Rhino products, it is made clear on their packaging that they are intended for industrial use where their range of colours, sizes and special properties may be of benefit.

Brilliant.
I love Rhino labels. Always best to buy the original items and they definitely pay off having those. Perfect for the Rhino printers.

A completely useless device which I bought to make large numbers of stick-on labels for boxes and packets of mechanical spares. The user instructions in the coloured 12 page booklet are unfollowable. I bought it following advice from the internet to replace a very old Pritt device. Please take this useless device back and advise me of a replacement. Whatever labels come out of the machine must stick to paper, cardboard, metal and plastic, colours and sizes of printwork should be variable.M Barrington

Not for cables
These are fine for labelling flat items but do not use on cables, they simply peel off after a couple of days. For that, use the Nylon ones. I find they are far better for everything and they are cheaper. I would not buy the polyester ones again but the 'Nylon every time.

Much easier to remove the backing than some others we've purchased in the past
Everything met our expectations, and the ability to easily peel off the backing exceeded our normal expectations. We'll definitely be buying these again in the future.

Mauvais ruban
Très difficile à décoller. Comme si la colle avait séché sur le ruban d’un vieux collant. Laisse des résidus quand on l’enlève. Loin d’être comme le blanc fonctionne habituellement. Très décevant surtout que c’est un Dymo original.. ?? J’ai des doutes

Can't complain about OEM labels
Even though Dymo brand labels are more expensive than 'compatible', they won't let you down, won't clog up/damage your labelmaker, and have great durability.
