These worked perfectly for hanging some outdoor speakers. Well made and easy to adjust. I took a chance on ordering these and it turned out to be exactly what I needed.

Works perfect for a little extra transom support. Just need to add one on the other side.

I used these for tensioning the shrouds on the old 17 foot sailing dinghy I just acquired. The previous turnbuckles had the shrouds roller-swaged on. I don't have the equipment for that or anyplace around that would do that for a reasonable price, so I made eye-ends in the wire rope and connected to these turnbuckles for dialing in the tension. These turnbuckles work OK, but my biggest complaint and the reason for not going 5 stars is that the fit of the bolts in the housing is kind of loose and the locking nuts don't stay put. They all tend to work their way loose with any motion of the turnbuckle, at least when it isn't under tension. This isn't a problem when the sailboat is rigged, as it is under tension, but when trailering with the shrouds disconnected, everything comes loose and backs out from where it was set. I painted marks on the bolts so I could easily re-set them to the proper tension length. Still, I can live with that problem since these were only about $9 for the pair and much, much less expensive than anything officially designated as a sailboat part.

They work great for my Satoh Beaver tractor sway bar connectors. Like that they resist rust and have locking nuts.

So I use this turnbuckle between a steel cable and the floating corner of a loft bed to level out and hold the unsupported corner. So this turnbuckle is responsible for holding up a portion of the lumber and steel involved in the construction of this loft bed, a thick queen sized mattress, a couple people, and when I feel like showing off, me doing pull ups right next to where it attaches to the bed. I have yet to regret using this turnbuckle, or having cause to feel nervous about its capabilities. I will add that I DID use a safety wire (not provided) with this turmbuckle as additional guarantee that it would not shake lose with vibrations, etc. or fail in any other way. I am definitely satisfied with the product though..

I replaced some big box store turnbuckles on my shade sail. These are hands down much better. They look sleek and stylish. I bored out one end to accept a 10mm D-ring shackle's pin. My only kinda complaint is that under load the screw being stainless on stainless feels "sticky" as you bring it under tension. I'd throw some grease on the threads next time to make them tension easier. These are going to be my go to turnbuckle.
