Great finish
We use Rubio monocoat for all of our woodworking projects. We love the finish and the fact that it is food safe. It is easy to apply and actually has a pleasant smell. Very nice to work with. Highly recommended.

Pictures of the wood post stain application are misleading
I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to staining, but don't trust the pictures on here. The black stain images looked more like imitating deep brown wood, are actually totally black. I applied it wrong, so it just looked like dirt, and inconsistent, but none the less one thing I can say for sure - the black is BLACK, photos are misleading. better look elsewhere to pick the right color of stain
