Thanks to the reviewer “Gramps” who explained how to properly install this end cap. Starting with the fitting nut screwed toward the end cap, I used hot water to soften the half-inch line, and it slid into the fitting like buttah! Then I screwed the nut backwards toward the line I just inserted, ran a leak test, and Voilà! Sealed tighter than a gnat’s rear stretched over a beer barrel—and zero leakage. I’m happy now and no longer watering the sidewalk & gutter in front of my yard. Yay!

Main line irrigation hose. A dream come true. I was used to compression end caps for main lines. So superior.I got a similar fitting for the end of the drip tape rows. CANT WAIT to replace all the fittings on every row.

Over hyped garbage. Got blisters on my fingers trying to tighten and push the pipe. Doesn’t matter what I did, it just leaks. Tried 3 pieces before started return process. Stay with simple T cheaper and reliable and works. Whoever designed this never worked in agriculture or in mechanical. Save yourself some time and money

The product says that they work with tape. They do not!
