Great, cheap and works well
very smart holds a good amount of ice and the internal liner keeps ice and water separate. Found ice still in it after the night before so the actual rate at which the ice melts when the lid is on is fairly low. Just like a pub one was cheap and does exactly what I wanted. BTW I got a great pair of stainless ice tongs in John Lewis for only £3 they are short and fit inside this...result!

Looks smart from the outside but a bit disappointed upon opening as the bucket holding the ice appears to me to be a bit on the cheapy side and thinner plasticky looking if you understand me - okay I accept I didn't pay a lot and yes it is plastic but I would say yep, in this instance you get what you paid for. Now I do not do any entertaining but I got this for Christmas as my sister and brother-in-law are coming down and he likes a bevy or two so I thought it would be convenient to save going to the kitchen all the time. It will I am sure suit us very well for the purpose but I don't know if it would stand up to heavy partying especially using an ice scoop as opposed to ice tongs? It will be perfectly good for what I want and if treated with respect and for sure the price was pretty good comparatively speaking.
