Perfect replacement for the decade old original. Easily fitted. If I had one gripe, it would be that the lock is supplied with just 2 keys when other manufacturers supply at least 3.

Easy job if replacing old lock
Replaced my old lock that was getting a bit temperamental after years exposed to the weather, only used the body of this, no issues, three screws and the job was done.

Brittle/ light metal
Works well & easy installation , but the metal here is much more brittle/ light compared to original , not sure how it would perform in durability tests vs the original.

Seems a good quality night latch. I hope it lasts as long as the original latch that worked for 25+ years.
