More family drama than a rom-com
I wouldn’t call it a rom-com, perhaps more so a family drama with a romance thread. A beach read it certainly isn’t for me - too much emotional Eat Pray Love self-discovery. My idea of a beach read is more fun and froth. Did I get bored? Perhaps in parts. Did I enjoy the banter? Absolutely, until the emotional family drama took out the humour.

This came in good quickly in the mail and was an enjoyable, easy read. It's a little predictable at times, but a cute story overall.

Absolutely damaged, 360 pages not 384 like how there are supposed to be
Really disappointed. The book is damaged , absolutely damaged. It looked like it got stuck inbetween machinery or was crushed underneath other books with the back cover turned in the process. I was fine with the damage until I counted the pages. There are about 378 pages (counting the blank ones as well after 360) and there are supposed to be 384. As for the plot of the book (I’ve read online) liked it enough to spend money and order it. But just really disappointed If I could I wouldn’t even give a star. Maybe for the early delivery? But dang I would wait longer if it meant the book came in top condition.

*NOT ABOUT THE CONTENTS OF THE BOOK*
Dont get me wrong, I absolutely loved this book and it is now one of my fave’s. However, the book did come damaged which is very upsetting cuz i will probably need to buy another one to put on my bookshelf.
