These are the first poles I've owned and I am very impressed by them. They are light but very sturdy.

I finally used my trekking poles on a long hike. We completed 10 miles with a 2800 foot elevation gain with a couple of creek crossovers and some snow. These poles are strong and helped a great deal. They stopped me from falling a couple of times and helped keep all of my weight off of my knees and ankles. The tutorial video that this company includes with the purchase is so helpful at finding the correct length.

Good product. I walked all over Europe with a bad hip with one of the poles. They are easy to use and they hold their height well. I’m 5’5” and heavy so they took a lot of pressure. The only thing I did not like was that the rubber end wore out on both of them (lots of concrete) making them prone to sliding. But that shouldn’t happen on trails. Good product.

Much preferred for walking stability vs a cane. Adjustable height. Helps momentum in walking. Can use (1) in addition to dog walking leash. Could be helpful incase of stray dogs.

These replaced my aged Leki poles, parts of which were left in WY on Eagle Peak and the Yellowstone wilderness some years ago. The adjustable locks on the shaft appear to be somewhat more secure than the old design as really, very fine dust getting under them.

I’m 64 years old and I bought these to go hiking in the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina. We took a trail trail that is pretty rugged from my point of view. Somewhat steep and lots of roots and rocks. These hiking sticks made it possible for me to hike up and then back down again and I wasn’t sore the next day. I have pretty bad knees and these hiking sticks absolutely saved me and made it a good day. And they weigh almost nothing. But they’re easy to adjust and work really well.

Bought these for my wife. Carbon is lightweight and the cork handgrip are very comfortable in all temperatures. Length is easily adjustable. Comparable to much more expensive poles from Cabelas or LL Bean.

I had to get used to the way they are used. Great arm workout.

I am an avid hiker and constantly use my poles. I will start with the elements I really enjoy about these poles: 1. Cost is low, and overall good quality. 2. I much prefer the clips for quick adjustments, as opposed to poles that lock by twisting. 3. The extended handle padding is a nice feature for varying grades uphill, without needing to adjust your poles as often. 4. I went on very steep and loose dirt terrain, but these held up well, so I always felt stable and secure. 5. Poles were lightweight, so did not add too much weight when collapsed and stored in my pack. The only real negative comment I have is regarding the handle design. The top of the poles above the cork handle have little round divots as a texture. When going downhill, the proper way to use the poles is to extend them and steady yourself by holding the top end of the poles. I found that the texture quickly started to create blisters on my palms. Luckily I had some scrambling gloves in my backpack which I threw on to help stop the skin from breaking. This seems like an easy fix to just make the top of the handles a smooth texture, so hopefully the manufacturer considers this in future versions.
