Is the lid easily washable?

Oh yes totally! It's been a few months of use now for me..doesn't leak at all. Very easy to clean. Hit stays hot for atleast 4 hours. And cold upto 5/6 hours. If you keep the flask inside backpack it may stay hot lot longer.

Excellent product. Very few mug style products are available and this one is best among them. Very convenient to use.

Not bad for 3-4 hours

If preheated with hot water for an hour or more, then coffee is lukewarm at 4 hours. Certainly doesn't keep liquids hot for 5 hours as described. After many hours, it gets difficult to open because of the built-up pressure inside from the steam, and the lid keeps turning for a few rounds without getting loose.
