All im looking for is a wet look...does this do it? Even if i have to put loads on :D

I have no experience of "wet looks" but I doubt if Brylcreem will be what you seek. Perhaps an oily hairdressing rather than a cream is what you should try.

Anyone use this as a topper with other pomades?

Brykcreem is a Men's hair styling tool from about the 1930's before there was anything else,( that is now used).Generally used by the older generation to help hair control.Though I used it regularly for many years, I now only use it immediately after a shower.Would suggest that if you are using modern hair products,Brylcreem might give you a small amount of "shine" but can't guarantee it.Had to Google what "pomades" were,sorry,am an oldie.There again,if you are using "toppers and pomades",Brylcreem may not be for you,a stylist might be your answer!Good luck

I've heard that you have to wash this off before going to bed as it will make your pillow oily, is that true?

I've never experienced this.Perhaps you are thinking of macassar? antimacassar......a piece of cloth put over the back of a chair to protect it from grease and dirt or as an ornament.

Is this product tested on animals or use any animal products in its manufacture ?

Not sure about contains animal products, but there are some slick looking chimps out there
