I wasn’t expecting much from this small lamp and thought it was a bit of a gimmick, but a nice present for someone who is learning with Guitar??, but didn’t have space for lots of kit. As the sound is brilliant. It comes with all the jacks and a power cable, also works off batteries. Recipient really happy with it and it’s taking it on holiday a couple of times.

Neat and handy little practice amp. Runs on a supplied 9v battery, or mains adapter. Very handy if you have a tube amp and just want to switch on and play, without warming up your amp first. Highly recommended, and a lot of fun!

I bought one of these for carrying around with my Steinberger Headless travel Guitar because I don't like using headphones much (otherwise I would have paid similar money for the Vox Classic Rock headphone Amp). It lasts quite well on its battery and "just" fits in my Gig-Bag (but I don't have the standard Steinberger one). In its price range (typically £40) its probably the best portable amp (the Marshal MS2 is even smaller but i couldn't test it at the time). For the money and with a strict requirement of cheap portability its not bad but if you don't worry about portability something like a 10W BB Blaster would be much better sounding and similar priced and if size and money is less critical the Yamaha THR5 is definitely worth a look particularly as it also runs on batteries.

OK as a bit of fun, but that's about it. Spend the extra and get the Blackstar Fly - it's in an other league!

After getting my stratocaster, I started buying equipment, most amplifiers were too expensive for me, when i saw this, the price was just right and reviews looked good so i bought it. I couldn't actually beleive the size, the sound and also the fact it was battery operated! a bit let down by not supplied with its own cable but hey its portable!

Having bought the Blackstar Fly 3 Mini recently, I then added another electric guitar to my collection and thought to try this slighter cheaper Fender amp. Big mistake, the Fly 3 is better in every way possible and and sounds excellent for just a little extra. The Fender is so overdriven and distorted by comparison and just gets painful to listen to... I am ordering another Fly 3 and will probably just write this off and bin it.

Great little amp worked fine after I used 6amp and not the 9 amp adaptor which was recommended .The sound is fine for basic guitar work

I recently moved into an apartment building and with my schedule the only time I have to play guitar is at night. As it turns out my neighbors are not a fan of me cranking it up to 11 on my larger amp so I figured for 35 bucks why not pick up this little thing. Turns out that this little amp has an amazing sound, way better than a lot of larger more expensive "practice amps(5-25W)" out there. Also do not be fooled by its size you can get a lot of volume out of this thing and though I have nto tried it yet I think it could hold its own at a jam session assuming you have a gentle drummer in the room. Now that I have talked about how great it is I think a little overview of the controls is in order. On the top it has four knobs, one for volume one for tone, one for drive and one for on and off. If you are a gutarist you probably have already realised that it is pretty simple to use and with a few quick adjustments you can have great tone out of the box. Other than that my only gripe and it is not really a gripe is the handle that is billed as "real working" is actually very tiny but would work great if you are GI Joe To sum it up: Pros: Sound - better than amps 2-3 times its size and price. Volume - Works great at low volume to keep the neighbors happy but would be great for jam sessions too Size - Nice and tiny so easy to carry around Cons: The handle does not actually work Its small size means that if you are plugged in it tends to get dragged if you move around too much Doesn't come with its own power adapter(but it does come with a battery)

Es un pelín ruidoso, pero nada que impida concentrarte en tu guitarra cuando ya estás tocando. Pesa muy poco, así que ojo dónde lo sitúas, no vaya a volar, arrastrado por el cable, en un arranque de pose rockera: cualquier insinuación de movimiento del cable lo va a desplazar.
