The Home Fusion Company 3M Metal Sink & Drain Waste Clearer/Unblocker

We've got a septic tank and can't use strong chemicals so had no other option than something manual. Our shower tray was almost over flowing and all the natural options hadn't worked for us so I bought this. I had no luck with it at all but my husband who is a little more patient than me removed a huge blockage within about 10 minutes. It's saved us a huge plumbing bill and so we are delighted. Just don't rush pushing the wire down, coax it slowly and wiggle it around, any blockages, turn the handle or the wire for a couple of minutes and then slowly pull out.

Not the best quality, but it is good if you need it for a smaller job. When you need it for a bit more massive blockage you will need a more robust "weapon". Unfortunately I needed that so it wasn't the best buy for me. But for smaller jobs I can recommended it.

Bought this to help with a blockage but it will not go around a bend. I thought with it being thin it would work but difficult to handle because of its length and unless it goes down a significant amount then you can not turn the handle. If you can undo some of the pipe bend in order to get to a straighter bit it will work unfortunately that was not possible for me has the pipework is sunk into the wall and difficult to get to. Go down a straight length of pipe work perfectly well but that does not get blocked so not needed. It was cheap enough to give it a go and may work for some pipework but not for what I needed it for. Stick with Bicarb and vinegar has a natural drain cleaner instead.

This product is absolutely fantastic. It really worked well and is very easy to use. The product is also of good quality material and construction. My shower was not draining as well as when first installed (less than a half year) and so I bought this tool to clear out whatever was blocking it. Like another reviewer, I found it difficult, probably almost impossible to get the wire into the drain from within the shower, as it has a mini u-joint. So I decided instead to push the wire through the pipe exit from the outside of my home and this was rather simple to reach and to get the wire down the pipe. The tool is so easy to use, it does not come with any instructions. Once the wire is down the drain, I started turning the handle. This helped the wire get further into the drain. When I pulled it out it captured lots of yukky hair into the wire-end, that is rather like a cork screw which holds onto the hair. My shower now works much improved. Fantastic!!

Absolutely rubbish, it wont go round 90 degree bends easily , it took me 40 mins to get past the 1st one but wouldn't go past the second bend at all, and when you get past a meter it tends to just coils up instead of pushing past/through the fat block. Im not sure how i did it but i also broke the handle. Its now in the bin.

After trying all different brands of chemical drain unblockers and also holding the shower head directly above the drain on full-blast (as recommended by someone) nothing worked to unblock the shower pipe! It was like standing in a mini bath at times, very irritating! A plumber would have cost in the region of £60+, maybe a lot more, for this job; especially if I was unlucky and got a cowboy who dragged the job out! For £2.40 this is a win! I gave it a go, had a bit of trouble at first feeding it down the hole (as the hole at the start of the pipe in our shower is about 3" down from the drain cover, and at an awkard angle) but I succeeded eventually! I pushed the snake down as far as it would go, wound the handle and slowly fed it back up......bringing everything with it! Yuk! Good-God it was shocking and nasty ;)The biggest hairball came out amongst other rotten debris :/ Sorry but it is true! This did the job wonderfully and so much cheaper than a plumber! For £2.40 buy it, you won't be disappointed! My shower now runs and doesn't block up, and to my delight I am not standing in half a foot of water! :D

Ne surtout pas acheter, ça n'a rien d'un déboucheur, trop flexible, pas d'embout, reste coincer.En conclusion, c'est une véritable arnaque
