Isn’t 108 mhz to 135 mhz the aviation band? is that range covered?

For a radio of this caliber and especially price, it's a huge mistake to leave out a band (VHF-Air) that is important to monitoring enthusiast, especially since many radios that cost much less have included it. It was missed in the PL-880, and most thought surely Tecsun would surely correct that mistake when the new PL-990 was announced, especially when it was going to cost $120 more than the previous PL-880. Sure, you can get a scanner if you want to monitor the VHF-Airband, but why should you have to do that? Especially since you're paying nearly $300, and yet some good quality shortwave SSB Shortwave portables that cost less than $160 include VHF-Air.
