Why did you choose this product over others?: Really nice pocket watch. Well made and good looks to it

The pocket watch arrived well packaged. A combination of black chrome plating, rose gold roman numerals, black face and white hands, makes for an eye catching piece of horology. The front cover is perforated to show off both the gold coloured skeleton movement and each roman numeral. It opens to 90 degrees on a strong spring, and on its inner appears to have a form of engine turning decoration. The front glass feels like plastic, whilst the back of the watch is decorated and has a glass window showing the mechanical inner workings. The chain is black chrome plated and of a reasonable length, but is something I have yet to use. The watch gains by about 3 minutes a day and fully wound has run for about 43 hours. All told I consider this to be a gem of a pocket watch, and worth every penny I paid for it.

Did not expect a lot for less than £25, but this watch is certainly worth it in my view. It's built to a price alright, and although it at first appears to be steel, in fact it's chrome-plated aluminium alloy (Mazak). You first notice it with the mould flashing round the winder ferrule. The plating is very good though, and the classic design is lovely, but would have been nice to have minute markers. On mine at least, the front opens with one push of the knob, the back with the second. The chain is quite good, better than feared. The movement's not bad, and in fact has so far proven very accurate, but the nature of a cheap watch is that some will be good timekeepers, others won't. I doubt it will last long, but it might - I have cheap mechanical watches decades old. Overall, I'm pleased I bought it.

Une très jolie montre gousset hexagonale au look très "Steampunk". J'adore ! Super fonctionnelle. Je l'ai remonté délicatement, mise à l'heure et go ! Je m'amuserai à voir la précision juste pour le fun, même si pour le prix, je ne m'attends pas à une Seiko😂 L'aiguille des secondes avance sans a coup ce qui est remarquable. L'arrière est tout aussi soigné ! Coup de coeur quoi !

First off no glass on this watch (Incase that’s a deal breaker for anyone) it’s just plastic for the windows also the skeleton style cover is part plastic as well BUT the rest of the body is metal and does seem well built also the skeleton cover is offset from the numerals making it a little annoying to read with it on but not impossible it does keep a very accurate time as of far 14-15 winds every 24 hrs seems to keep things running smoothly and lastly it is a little smaller than expected but the size works for me it’s about 2 inches from bottom to top of the hands adjustment and a plus this watch is a beautiful piece looks expensive so empresses your friends with it 😂
