Hi does it come with the legs to attach it to the bed? Thanks

Yes it comes with everything you need to attach it to the bed.

What is the measurement between the two fitting points on headboard

I can't remember what company I bought my headboard from but it was disgraceful. The fabric was to short to go behind the headboard and then be covered by a second fabric to hide the staples. I had to get help to stretch the cover tight enough to get enough fabric to go behind the headboard and secure it with drawing pins. Obviously whoever made it wasn't frightened by quality checks.

Can this be affixed to the wall using a French cleat?

Hi, yes you can. I didn't know what a French cleat was... I do now. I think its a brilliant idea and think I will look into doing it as well to stop the bedhead banging back against the wall.
