So far so good. Only used a couple of times and working well. Really pleased with this purchase. Nice and quiet with minimum vibration. Comfortable grip position and good balance between being light weight but sturdy. No issues with battery life - completed a full cut (longest attachment for the top, then graded sides and back, neck and sideburn trim etc.) with probably 20 mins continuous use - no loss of speed / power so assume they run much longer than this if required. Cuts cleanly, no pulling or ripping of hair. Attachments clip on nicely with no risk of coming lose in use. Took a bit of time getting the hang of how to detach again as I wanted to be careful not to damage / snap the lugs as they are plastic. Once you get the knack it's easy. My only comment for improvement would be that the longest cut you can have is 17mm (15mm attachment + the additional 2mm on the clipper itself). Clippers I've bought in the past have a 1" (25mm) attachment which is my preferred length.

Only used it 4 times and the charger has failed - garbage! When it did charge it took ages to even indicate it was charging - I guess it was faulty from day 1. Clipper work fine, but not much use if they will not charge.

Nice neat little machine, plenty of power to get through thick hair and low sound in use, didn't send the dog potty like my other clippers did. Lots for the money and time will tell how it holds up, I killed my last major brand set in 14 months of use. Only down side is the charger base, if the holder had a deeper recess it would be more stable. Also missing 6mm guide, received two 12mm in box, luckily guide from one of my previous clippers fits (the bottomless man-drawer wins again!)

I bought this after reading the reviews and sure enough it was great, excellent value and did a good job. However after four months the handset failed when I put it in the charger, flash of light and kaput. I contacted the seller and the whole set was replaced without quibble, making me a very happy chappie. I reckon I was just unlucky with the first set, and am hoping for a much longer period of use this time around. As most reviewers have said, this is a good bit of kit that does its job very well, and the seller is obviously trustworthy and reliable. Happy am.

Got everything other than the scissors. Charged up and used to cut short hair and trim beard with attachment. Did well. 3 stars as no scissors with the product.

I bought this product after reading the descriptions for trimming my son's hair and it didn't even last for a year. I wanted something lighter than the Philips 'Do it yourself' trimmer I've always been using. I liked how it doesn't cut too much lower to the skin initially. After using it for couple of times the machine stopped charging. The blue light will come on indicating full power charge. However, the clipper has stopped working completely and I'm having to take my son to the barber's shops which he hates. Please be careful, all that glitters is not gold.

As a qualified hairdresser this set is the best I have ever bought. Easy to use and lovely and quiet thank you .

Very good - light and easy to use. Hair does not clog the comb attachments unlike other clippers I have had in the past. Great little tool
