I use these for Bari, tenor and alto saxophones. Always reliable, quality consistent. Reeds do not dry out on stage between tunes/changeover.

How wonderful, My other half has started playing the Sax and has as a novice experienced issues with ordinary reeds splitting etc. trying to find something that suited has been a real problem... ( having tried several grades and manufacturers products.) We decided to try these plasctic covered reeds .. and have an imediate result. Not only are they more comfortable to use, but it has actually made the instrument easier to play all scales are easier to reach and the sound is better too. rich and deep to bright full tones as the higher notes are reached. these have transformed playing and given more confidence. Delivery and packaging were exellent, a very big thank you.

Bought for my wife who is learning to place the Alto and Tenor Saxophones. Good quality and lasts a lot longer than the ordinary reeds. Worth buying

Get better sound on Saxaphone

No wetting required. Placed the reed straight onto the mouthpiece, and got good solid notes from the get go. Still on the first reed, it appears they do not wear out as quickly as normal reeds. Trying the same thing on my tenor sax at the moment and getting the same results there.

As a beginner these make playing so much easier, the reed draws much less moisture from my mouth meaning I can practice for longer easier. Also if I only have 20mins to play, I can pick up and start playing immediately, without messing about wetting the Reed or drinking so it doesn't dry out my lips/tounge.

Of the box of 5, two of the reeds had deformities that rendered them unplayable. The rest are OK but most started to warp after a few days of playing.

So far, I am loving these reeds. The best thing to happen to saxophone since lungs. I normally was using 3.0 hard jazz select.reeds. I have stepped down to 2.5 with these plastic cover reeds. It is amazing to be able to play them right out of the box with no break-in and any of the usual fuss with traditional cane

Ces anches de marque Rico sont vraiment bien faites. Elles permettent d'avoir une bonne tenue dans le temps. Pour les personnes qui salivent beaucoup elles gardent leurs propriétés longtemps ce qui est un plus au prix des anches. Je ne suis pas pro et me doute que ceux-ci trouveront peut-être un manque de finesse, mais moi je les trouve très bien.

The best Reed for alto Saxophone.i have been playing Saxophone professionally since last 10 years and have tried many reeds including Rico,Vendoren traditional blue,Vendoren Jazz,Vendoren Java but this Plasticover reeds is the best with a long life and smooth stressless playing.
