The subject of water quality is a massive subject at the momment. Incompetent governance , in addition to the build up of years of harmful toxins in the water that is readily available to us through our taps, means that we really need to implement measures to ensure that the water we consume (drink and wash in) is filtered through our own preventative measures.There at least 12 toxins which exist in our drinking water. Some of these nasty contaminants include but are not limited to Fluoride, Chlorine, Lead, Mercury in addition to others.With the above in mind, I decided to invest in this water filter after reading the reviews. The product utilises 15 stages of filtration to ensure the output water is highly purified.My own personal experience:The filter is very quick and easy to install and I’m sure it’s compatible with most shower attachments. I didn’t take me very long to install but you must ensure that steps are taken using what is provided with item, to ensure there is no water leakage.Secondly, I made an impressive discovery that I did loose significantly less hair. I routinely wash my long hair and I noticed a massive decline in hair loss. I strongly believe this is due to the removal of contaminants from the water. If you research the causal link between hair loss and water contaminants, it is evident that hair loss can be caused by contaminants such as heavy metals.I look forward to purchasing more of your filters to install in other shower areas of my home.I would also strongly recommend that amazon shoppers purchase a water filter for their kitchen tap.Overall an excellent product which I believe is highly effective!!

Please open the cover and check the direction of the filter. It is a one way system.On the first week we don't see any different, then I open the cover and find that the filter is in a reversed direction.We have been using this for nearly a month now. I bought it because my 2 years old has mild eczema, I want to see if this improve the condition. After one month of use - I can't see much different on his skin. My wife also said she can't feel the different. But interestingly the rash I had on my feet has disappeared. TIP: these are pretty big filters and add weight to your shower head. It is possible to connect these under your bath like I have done, or even in your airing cupboard where pipework is probably more accessible. Just buy some push fit fittings, 15mm to 1/2 and a 15mm straight coupler, I used copper as i had one spare. and its fairly straight forward to install. An advantage of this is it will also filter your bath water as well as your shower. However, you will need 2 filters one cold and one hot supply.TIP: One of the internal rubber washers had moved on mine so I had to push it back in. This would have caused a leak and is mentioned in the instructions, so read them.I live in London and the water is hard and often smells of chlorine. This plays havoc with my skin so I have all kinds of magnet contraptions to reduce the limescale which do work but don't remove the chlorine.I discovered these on Amazon and thought I would give them a go.I installed under my bath onto my pv pipework using simple push fit fittings.I can honestly the say like a Brita filter you can notice the difference straight away. The chlorine smell is gone which means my family are no longer breathing this in. In terms of my skin, its not instantly silky smooth but there is already a noticeable difference on the dry skin on my arms. This filter really works, I can see the difference very fast. I could notice the difference in my skin on the first try. My skin gets really dry after a bath, but not that much after applying the filter. I also want to do a test to prove it even better, which is the dried water drops on my shower glass. Due to high limescale in water, once they dry out in the glass, you can see the white stains, so for this test, I need a couple more shower to prove it out, but I'm sure I will see the difference.My girlfriend already says she sees the difference in her hair.On the application, a couple of tips: use the rubbers and the tape that come in the package to make sure water does not come out from the side or from the top, you have to make sure that is really well isolated.It looks great! It's still a very minimalistic shower and that's great! 5 stars

I have used this shower filter a few times. The filter is large but that is acceptable.The main problem is that it does not improve the water quality at all. See the attached photos. There are still quite a lot of stain (which you can see on the filter body itself !!! ). Water coming out of the filter is a bit sticky and does not get softened at all. Waste of money and have to return it for a refund.

I purchased the filter last October, moved house this past June, and then took ages to remember to put it back in the shower in in my new flat, finally doing so a couple months ago. The filter no longer works, it seems that where the two parts twist together, it has corroded and so will not create a seal, and thus leaks to the point that the water won't push through the cartridge anymore, but dribbles out the side of the shower hose, rendering the filter useless. (See photo - circled where it leaks.)In the brochure that it comes with, it states there is a 1 year warranty, so I contacted the manufacture in order to replace it.The manufacturer, after first trying to suggest I just buy a new one, finally gave me a coupon code to cover the cost of a new filter. Unfortunately for me, I should have added his email address to my address book, as the coupon code went into my spam box and by the time I found it had expired (my bad).A week ago I requested he kindly re-issue a code for me, as the initial one went into my Spam (and the filter is still under warranty until the end of this month anyway), but I have heard nothing back yet. I've just sent another email requesting a code to replace the filter, and I'm hoping by writing this review it will encourage them to reissue the code to cover the cost of a new filter to replace my corroded one.UPDATE: I've changed my review to 3 stars, as the seller did get back to me with a new coupon code which allowed me to order a new filter at no cost to me. Very much appreciated.

After using a few times, my skin and hair improved and look a lot better than when using without.. I have dandruff and the bad water in the area I.live makes it so much worse.. this definitely makes a difference and I feel a lot less itchy on my scalp. Thanks

Never thought I’d be one for spending lots of £££ on my hair but moving to London changed everything. The water here is so hard that two months in I couldn’t stand to look in the mirror as my hair was that bad. No shampoo would lather and no matter how long I’d rinse my hair would still feel sticky and oily and disgusting right after washing it.This is where I broke and ordered this and thank goodness I did. Fitting it was a breeze and the first night I washed my hair with this filter fitted I could feel the months oil and grime build up being washed away. Magic. I’ve had it about 6 weeks now and cannot recommend it enough. Not had to change the filter just yet despite daily use by myself and the boyfriend. If you live in a hard water area this is a must!

Wir haben im Garten super kalkhaltiges Brunnenwasser. Nach dem Duschen tut meine Haut/Kopfhaut richtig weh und ich habe Haarausfall jnd Schuupen von dem Wasser! Eine teure Enthärtungsanlage kommt aus kostengründen nicht in Frage. Viel versprochen hatte ich mir von dem kleinen Filter nichts. ABER: ER BEWIRKT WUNDER!!! Schon beim ersten Duschen merkt man richtig, dass die Haut nicht mehr spannt. Das Shampoo schäumt auch viel mehr. Ich bin begeistert! Die Schmerzen wegen der trockenen Haut sind weg! Und zu installieren war es kinderleicht. Ich (Frau) hab es vor den Duschschlauch direkt unter die Duscharmatur angebracht. Etwas Dichtband braucht man noch und eine Rohrzange. Kinderleicht. Anschlüsse passen auf handelsübliche Duscharmaturen/Schläuche.

Se coloca y ajusta fácilmente sin necesidad de ninguna herramienta ni artilugio, solo con las manos. Es como cambiar la alcachofa. Además, el rollo de Teflon que viene con el producto facilita un ajuste perfecto, para evitar fugas. De momento, el agua se nota algo menos “pesada” , aunque los efectos se notaran a largo plazo, ya que el filtro parece de calidad. Muy satisfecho con la compra.

Certains de ces contaminants nuisibles comprennent, sans s'y limiter, le fluorure, le chlore, le plomb et le mercure en plus d'autres.Pour aller droit au but l'eau chaude dans mon appartement a une forte odeur de calcaire et ça se voit qu'il y trop de calcaire dans l'eau en regardant la paroi de doucheMon expérience avec ce produit:Le filtre est très rapide et facile à installer et il est compatible avec la plupart des accessoires standard de douche. Je ne m’ai pas mis beaucoup de temps à l'installer mais vous devez vous s'assurer Ruban PTFE (livré avec le produit) à enrouler autour des raccords avant l'assemblage. Le PTFE assure l'étanchéité de l'installation des raccords.J'ai découvert de façon impressionnante qu'il y a beaucoup moins de calcaire dans l'eau en regardant la paroi. Je crois fermement que cela est dû à l'élimination des contaminants de l'eau. Il y a d'autre avantage avec ce filtre les cheveux sont plus doux et moins d'odeur de calcaireDans l'ensemble, c'est un excellent produit j'espère que ça dure !!
