Circulon Enamel on Steel Whistling Induction Teakettle, Tea Kettle for Stovetop with Flip-Up Spout, 2-Quart, Gray

This is a nice high-quality stove top kettle. We have used it several times a day for over 2 months now. It has a nice finish. It’s easy to use. Easy to fill and easy to clean. It has a good whistle. It boils quickly on an induction stove. I also find it a very attractive addition to the kitchen. It looks great sitting on top of the range top even when not in use. I read reviews before purchasing and there were some negatives. From what I see all the issues are from misuse of the kettle and not the kettle itself. If you’re using this on an induction range, most of those problems can never happen. All the reports of the handle or the whistle melting or falling out is because the kettle is being used on a burner that is too large. If you’re using gas or electric range, you need to use it on a small burner. If the burner is much larger than 6 inches in diameter, the heat will naturally rise up and overheat and can melt the plastic handle and the whistle assembly. Some people complained the whistle wasn’t loud enough. My hearing isn’t the best, but I can easily hear the whistle. I suppose if you have severe hearing loss or you’re in the remote corner of your 20 room mansion, you might not hear the whistle. I think most people will hear the whistle just fine if they’re in the room or the next room over, etc…

Love this tea kettle. love the color, the whistle, is very loud, it cleans up nicely, it looks pretty on my stove. I have had the tea kettle for one year and the whistle part broke. I checked with Rufus to see if it was too late to return it, he said it should be covered by the warranty because a part fell off. I got in touch with Circulon I told them the problem. They told me to take a picture of the pot and they would send me a new one. Thank you, Amazon and Rufus giving me the correct information to obtain a new tea kettle. Other than the whistle problem, I love the tea kettle.

This teakettle is exactly what I was hoping for. The color is beautiful in person and the enamel looks high-quality. It feels solid and well-constructed without being too heavy, and it heats quickly with a clear, loud whistle. Overall, a great piece that looks nice on the stove and works just as well as it’s advertised.

I think this a beautiful, stylish, and high quality tea kettle for the price. I can’t speak to durability yet, but I like Circulon. I needed a tea kettle and this is just what I wanted, for the price. I have already used it and like it. It heats up well. Now about the whistle? I don’t know, I don’t have other tea kettles to compare this to. At this price point I am fine with it. But no, the whistle is not loud, it’s pretty quiet. It actually just sounds like a little bit of wind is going outside instead of a whistle or sharper sound. It’s so soft and gentle and quiet. Also this is a larger kettle than I expected and I’m fine with this and the whistle- Circulon is a good quality and all I need is to be able to make tea! If the kettle remains as beautiful as it is now, I will be very happy and have no complaints. A louder, sharper whistle would be nice.

Needed a new teapot, and this fits the bill. It’s easy to clean, and looks great. Highly recommend buying it!

I like to make tea in the winter and a whistling tea kettle gives me a cozy feeling. This one is not only pretty but it’s made well. As others have noted, the whistle is not very loud, but I can hear it in the next room. I haven’t noticed the handle getting hot but I use only medium heat to heat the water. This tea kettle seems like it will hold up well and I think I will have it a long time so it’s a good value and worth the higher cost.

This tea kettle l give a 5 star review, because it whistles very much so for you to hear, omg the porcelain finish cleans easily with warm soap and water. LOVE IT ❤️ rest resistant.

Our stainless steel teapot was showing its age and needed to be replaced with something that wouldn't show the torch marks from our gas stove top. This looked like a hot buy (pun intended) for the price and it has worked well. We love how the handle doesn't get too hot, the cap flips open and stays open while pouring out the hot water and black color of the teapot remains looking clean. It holds about 2 quarter of hot water, just enough to brew a full container of iced tea. The whistle isn't super loud, but we consider that a good thing. We have only used for a few months, but it appears this will be a durable and stylish addition to our kitchen.

This was to replace our previous circulon kettle of 15 years. The handle is not as good as the original but overall we are very pleased with it. Love the colour.

Amazing product, only thing which could have made a standout experience is its Handel. If it was adjustable or even a little twistable then it would have been a perfect product.

Lovely kettle. Good capacity; solid construction and lid fits snugly but easy to remove and replace. The perfect pouring spout - absolutely no dribbling. The shape of the handle is ideal for a task such as filling a hot water bottle because, gripping at the lower end instead of the apex, it is much less awkward for a controlled pour at a safe angle - also much less shoulder effort with a heavy filled receptacle. Love it.
