Weight is very heavy, solid dexterity quality of the lock is very hardy not bad for the price. Look forward to getting more in the future.

The lock did rust not too bad I kept it on an outside tool box it worked great in the summer but in the winter the lock would freeze up and was really hard to unlock came with plenty of keys and was extremely heavy made

I needed a couple of locks for a custom build that secures my generator in place, ensuring it cannot be stolen without a great level of effort. I looked at several of the typical disk locks, heavy duty pad locks, etc., but they all didn't have the beef I was looking for. I came across the Kurtzy locks and 1) appreciated the detailed diagrams with measurements as it helped me to ensure they were going to fit the application, 2) was happy to find something (finally) with almost a 1/2" shaft / bar, 3) LOTS of extra keys!!, and 4)...these things are SUPER BEEFY!!! Although they provide measurements and show the product in someone's hands in pictures...you don't really get it until you get your lock(s). I opened the box and all I could say is "Damn!" Would highly recommend!!

this lock is heavy, well built, and HUGE. awesome quality but I couldn't use it because it was way too large. The company gave me a partial refund and let me keep the lock.....just too expensive to send back to Switzerland. I still need to find someone that has a use for it. NOT a lock to use with bike chains of any sort........Maybe for a motorcycle chain to lock up but they chain loops have to be pretty large. I think that the shaft is 14mm I only gave it 4 stars because I cant use it............as for customer service I give them ************ a lot of stars :)

good for a cheap visual deterrent. one of the two would not lock properly and upon disassembly I found the pin which catches the bolt was not long enough and I had to fashion a small spacer which worked but lock action was never smooth. lock was easy to pick when I forgot my key once. sub 30 second pick and Im no lock picking lawyer.

The weight made it look sturdy but the pin dropped out upon opening the packing. The inner-lock chamber that fell out was rusty and did not look new in the slightest. (see attached picture). Plus, the pin is not supposed to fall out! Very disappointed because on site this looked to be a reliable locking device, but in reality, it arrived broken.

Love this lock. I used it to lock up my generator while camping.

Wanted a strong lock to secure dirt bikes in the back of the truck. These are so much better then a standard lock. The rolling lock pin is a great feature and anything that makes it more difficult for a would-be thief is great! Very happy with these locks.

Habe tagelang nach einem gutem Schloss für meinen Keller gesucht. Bin alle Schlösser von ABUS durchgegangen, keins hat mich anhand der Beschreibungen und Bewertungen überzeugt. Hatte auch selber etliche angeblich hochwertige, teure und aufbruchsichere Schlösser von ABUS ausprobiert. Vergeblich, alle Schlösser waren trotzdem geöffnet und mein Keller ausgeräumt worden. Die ABUS-Schlösser waren alle entweder aufgeknackt oder aufgesägt worden. Dieses Mal wird es aber hoffentlich nicht mehr passieren dank meinem neuen Schloss von Kurtzy. Jetzt bin ich endlich fündig geworden. Der Bolzen vom Kurtzy-Schloss ist extrem dick und massiv, knacken kann man den wahrscheinlich nicht und ich vermute aufzusägen erst recht nicht. Im Vergleich zu anderen Schlössern ist das Kurtzy-Schloss extrem schwer aber trotzdem handlich. Es hat eine sehr hochwertige Verarbeitung, sieht nicht aus wie Billigware sondern wie ein richtiges, teures und super sicheres Schloss. Ich würde sagen der Mercedes unter den Schlössern. Kann zwar den günstigen Preis nicht nachvollziehen, bin aber trotzdem glücklich darüber, weil ich letztendlich auch deswegen mich dafür entschieden hatte. Ich dachte mir lieber ein schweres Schloss als ein leichtes für das gleiche Geld. Für den Preis bekommt man woanders ein Spielzeugschloss. Hoffentlich werden ich nicht von diesem Schloss enttäuscht. Dann werde ich mir dieses Schloss auch für mein Fahrrad besorgen. Ich würde mir dann kein anderes Schloss mehr kaufen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist bei dem Kurtzy-Schloss einfach SUUUPER! Kann ich einfach nur weiterempfehlen. Also nicht mehr weitersuchen. Alles nur vergeudete Zeit.
