I’ve always believed that if you’re going to feed a member of the family, they might as well eat well—and judging by the way my dog now sprints to her bowl like she’s auditioning for Crufts, I’d say we’ve found a winner.This dog food has genuinely impressed me. The ingredients list reads more like something from a health-conscious deli than a pet aisle—no mysterious “meat derivatives” or suspicious additives lurking in fine print. It smells, well, not delightful to the human nose, but a far cry from the pongy, oily options I’ve mistakenly bought in the past.One of the first things I noticed was the change in her coat. After just a couple of weeks, she looked as though she'd stepped straight out of a dog shampoo advert—sleek, glossy and frankly smug. The breath, which had previously been somewhere between compost bin and old sock, is now practically inoffensive. I wouldn't say it's minty fresh, but it no longer clears a room.The kibble size is ideal—not so small that she inhales it like a hoover on Red Bull, but not so big she looks at me like I’ve given her gravel. It’s clearly designed with medium to large breeds in mind, and my Labrador has had no trouble munching through it.What I particularly appreciate is the lower fat content. She's a lively girl who doesn’t sit still for long, but I’m conscious of keeping her weight in check, especially as she gets older. This food strikes a nice balance between being satisfying without being heavy.Now, the price. Yes, it does make your wallet flinch. I won’t pretend it’s budget-friendly—but in fairness, neither is a vet visit for digestive issues or dental work. I’d rather pay a bit more now and avoid those costs (and the accompanying dog guilt) later.In short, it’s not cheap—but neither is quality. My dog’s happier, healthier, and possibly more stylish than I am at this point. If only they did a human version.

Bought as a gift for a relative whose dog has all kinds of skin and dietary problems. He isn't a fussy eater anyway but gobbles this down with gusto. His skin conditions have improved somewhat and his stomach seems much more settled now. My sister was impressed enough to swap to Lily's Kitchen full time. Four stars as it is a little expensive and it wasn't a miracle cure but results were definitely better than expected. If the dog could vote I would be over-ruled and it would get a full 5/5.

My golden retriever likes this over any other dried complete food

We have literally bought every item from the Lily's Kitchen range for dogs and puppy's - no I mean this, from all the dry, tins, trays, treats, even snack bars which btw are a god send when on long walks!I have 2 dogs, one 7 year old staffy (Aiko) and a 5 month staffy pup (Logan). Logan has always been on Lily's since he arrived with us, his coat is wonderfully shiny and he is in good shape - he cannot get ENOUGH of this stuff!When we first got Aiko, I was young and stupid, didn't do much research in what goes into dog food. She was eating what was available in stores like Waitrose and Tescos purely for convenience. She was attacked last year by a Chow and she had 5 puncture wounds. She is a very timid dog and doesn't really like rough play so we got Logan after much consideration as a friend for her and also to help build her confidence with other dogs. This has worked. The only issue was where the vet shaved all her hair off to treat her puncture wounds the fur was not growing back. We suffered an awkward shave for over 6 months which apparently is not normal! So, this was when I decided to look into the what was in her food as there was zero sign of full fur recovery.We switched her onto Lily's. She's VERY VERY FUSSY! Maybe because I fed her human food and cooked boiled chicken for her now and then? She took to Lily's and guess what! After 3 weeks her hair magically grew back!! Coincidence, maybe? But I doubt it - it was the only change in her lifestyle at that point. Her coat is now a bed of glowing fur!As mentioned earlier Logan loves the entire range but Aiko is a little fussier, seems like she's not keen on any of the fish flavours - she has her days where she will devour it and other days she will be snooty about fishy fish pie or the fish supper. I now bulk buy 2 bags of 7Kg dry and 30 X 400g tins AND 30 X 150g trays to feed them for a month. I originally did this on fetch or the Lily's website but I have since finding myself checking the prices of both websites and Amazon to see what is on offer etc to get the best value for me. I highly recommend this food, both dogs love dinner time and they don't stalk me for my human food.

My dog enjoys this but only as part of his whole diet. It is not complete

I put off changing my boys food from royal canin since we got him because it settled his stomach initially and sorted out his gastro problems but he went off it and his poop made it quite clear it wasn’t helping him at all. He refused eating until he was starving. I found lilys kitchen looking for a natural alternative. He’s been on it for 3 weeks now and I get celebration circle hops at breakfast. He can’t wait to eat. His tummy is settled, his coat is shiney and soft and I get an empty bowl every time. He gets half his his biscuits with half a tin of lily’s proper meat loaf in the morning and the rest of his biscuits a couple of hours before bed. Cannot recommend enough. Wouldn’t say it cost any more or less than the main stream brands but it’s full of natural goodness where they are not from my experience.

J’ai commandé ces croquettes pour ma spitz petite de 5,5kg qui, fait un peu du lard et qui a besoin de perdre quelques grammes.Auparavant je lui donnais des Edgar & Cooper pour un soucis de qualité nutritive et composition plus saine.La santé vient de ce que je lui donne, son bonheur et son poil me remercie.Problème! Elles étaient bien trop grasses et j’ai cherché un peu partout des équivalents au niveau compo mais avec moins de calories pour espérer lui faire perdre un peu.On lit tout et n’importe quoi sur internet, il existe tellement de marques qu’on fini par s’y perdre.J’ai dû éplucher la liste de compo une par une pour vérifie que celles-ci seraient bonnes pour elle.Bref, les Lily sentent très bon, ont la taille qu’elle apprécie. La compo est super et très bien équilibrée, bien moins grasses que les autres.Elle n’a eu aucune diarrhée, le changement s’est fait rapidement et elle les mange très bien.Je n’ai pas encore remarqué de différence sur le poids mais ça se fait sur le long terme.Elle a toujours autant d’énergie et un poil toujours aussi brillant.En tout cas je ne connaissais pas et j’en suis très contente tout comme ma chienne!Par contre les prix sont aussi salés qu’Edgar mais quand on aime on ne compte pas!

Encontré esta marca de comida buscando por Internet y después de ver todas las opiniones me decidí. Hay distintas variedades, para que los perros no se aburran, y todas ellas muy sanas. Además le sienta fenomenal. Antes le había dado otra marca de comida, de gama premium, pero con demasiada proteína y siempre tenía problemas de diarreas. Cuando cambié a Lily's Kitchen, nunca más le ha pasado. He probado la de cachorros y ahora ya la de adulto, un par de sabores. A mi perra le encanta, además se le nota un pelo precioso y mucha vitalidad.En cuanto a Amazon, el paquete viene en perfecto estado (muchas gracias a las personas que me respondieron sobre esto, ya que me decidí a comprarlo por sus respuestas) y el precio es imbatible. Más barato que en cualquier tienda física u online, con diferencia.
