Powerful and easy to set up. Just plug one end into your Internet router and plug and play the rest. Silent operation. Not sure why asked to rate the Wi-fi signal as it does not do Wi-fi but of course you can plug a Wi-fi access point in if you needed one.

Always used Netgear switches but lately they seem to have an issue with my Mesh set up. I then needed to swap to a PoE Switch for my VOIP. Again tried a new Netgear and nothing but hassle. Was going to just forget it as thought the issue may be my set up. So I tried one more time and purchased this Linksys. 100% compatible with my VOIP over POE and to just that but it seems all my little issues with the Netgear and the Mesh have disappeared. Well packaged and a nice little unit which appears well made and the info lights are very handy too. Will consider Linksys now for my future purchases.

Purchased to help manage a growing network this product is easy to install and just worked - wonderful! I am aware that the network is still not working at top speed so I will need to investigate further it may well not be the switch. Robust, well built and easy to install. Delivered on time, well wrapped and correctly addressed

Excellent piece of equipment. Works well with a nas and umpteen other Lan equipment in a home office environment. Powers a ubiquity lr wifi point. Does not seem to get too hot. Good data transfer rates on the Lan. Chose this for the various Poe standards vs others with fewer options to be future proof.

UPDATED: This switch has failed after 6 years and when it failed it took out all my PoE devices (cameras, APs and smart devices). The failure of a £120 switch is one thing, but the failure of hundreds of pounds of other kit makes this an awful product. I will never again buy a linksys product, and I will never recommend it to others. The hardware warranty is 5 years, and Linksys didnt even seem to care, despite the catastrophic failure of their device. AVOID!!! This is a great value switch with a decent PoE budget to share amongst the 8 PoE ports. I looked at countless versions and this was the top that I found, unless you go to double or even treble budget/price. This switch supports 802.3at (PoE+) hence allows loads of power to a single device, though cannot support this amount of power on every device. For 99% of users I expect this is fine, since 802.3at allows 25W of power for each device while realistically most will use 5-10W. The total (16/8PoE) switch can support 80W which is clearly 10W per device and should be ample of most people! Ok, there are no management features, but for most people that is overkill as this is best for a small end unit with all attached devices being flat. The one thing that management adds which is super useful, is the ability to power cycle the devices by cutting power and turning it back on - though from what I can tell this feature is not available on any switches under about £300-400. At this price and for the ease of installation its pretty unbeatable in my view.

Easy to setup - plug and play. Haven't tested the POE yet, that will be next. For what it is, 16 ports and 8 POE, exceptional value for money compared to others.

Great switch - replaced my aging fan cooled switch which was noisy. This is silent and also powering my hikvision security cameras up into the loft.

The switch itself does the job but I found it extremely disappointed that the power supply was a completely custom fitting with a rather large power brick attached. If you need to plug this into a UPS, you will probably need an adapter.
