OK people getting the wrong end of the stick with this question. She isn't asking if a plain tissue or hanky with nothing on will work, she's asking if she needs to buy these wipes to apply the liquid cleaner she has already bought. The answer is no, this is just a different way of applying. The cloths are already impregnated with the cleaner for convenience. If you have the liquid cleaner already then just put some on a clean rag (not paper tissue) or hanky or the like, you do not need these to apply it. Hope this clears this up for anyone else who might be wondering the same
