Like my pod
Pod does its job - adds a bit more accuracy indoors and some additional stats. Battery lasts longer than I expected and easy to charge.

Essential for treadmill training
I've had my Pace pod for just over a year now and used it for almost every single run. The instant pace data is very useful for training and if you're a treadmill runner serious about tracking your runs then I would consider this an essential buy. Having accurate distance data on a treadmill is invaluable. I find that the accuracy is almost spot on every time and it's incredibly useful for pacing during races. Overall a quality device. Battery life is strong. I run ~40 miles per week and charge it maybe every other week. The dock also holds its own charge and I charge that maybe every month. Really convenient battery life. Connectivity is good most of the time, but if you pause a run for too long it seems to act strange when you unpause and I've never been able to figure out why. I don't pause often so its never been a deal breaker, but if you do take stops then you might have to reset the activity to get the tracking back.

Very good. No longer much use after watch update
Very good sense of for a distance runner. Make sure it's installed on your body exactly the way they recommend. It must be right in the middle of the body axle, meaning right on the spine. Otherwise it will show incorrect readings of the right and left foot balance. Only downside is that after the most recent chorus update it's used is only for one feature. The watch is taking all other measurements. So if you are fan article about right/left balance, it's for you.

Too expensive for what it does, but overall happy with it
Improves accuracy of running data , but takes a long time to sync and between the watch and the Coros pod you would think the treadmill running would be way more accurate but in truth there is hardly a difference. Easy runs and tempo runs have DRASTICALLY different efforts, but my pace according to my Coros pod and Coros Pace 4 is always way faster or way slower than I’m running. If you ran the same pace all the time, it’d be dead on, but if you vary your pace for different workouts (as you should if you want to train for any type of running event), it’l constantly need calibrating and it will overestimate your easy runs and underestimate faster pace runs. Not the end of the world, I still love the metrics it provides and the algorithms adjust to the correct distances and paces once I calibrate with the treadmill mileage at the end of the run. I love the accuracy it adds on outdoor runs and the running form it provides. In my opinion it should be cheaper, it doesn’t provide THAT much data for $100, and the inaccuracy of treadmill runs is a bit annoying. Overall I do like it a lot and I’m glad I bought it, I’d just like to see the accuracy improve on treadmills, drop the price a tad, and make the carrying case slightly bigger so it can fit HRM too.

Accurate, pricey
While I think the pod is too expensive to justify for most people, it has helped me receive more accurate and faster updating pace information to my older Pace 2 watch which greatly helps me for interval training.

Do what supposed to do right
Do what is supposed to do. Great accuracy on everything special on treadmill and indoor. Super easy to pair. Super light weight and do what it’s the important on running.

Really good product
Alwys helps, with knowing how run goes, quicknto reflect pace change, and more accurate. Also works really well with treadmill runs. One word of caution is to secure it to the clip and re-check. Also product works excellent with Coros watch and doea not require any subscription. Value for money 5/5

Coros Pod 2 — Simple, Accurate, and Surprising in Its Clarity
The Coros Pod 2 isn’t flashy, but it earns its keep right out of the box. Small, light, and easy to clip on, it barely gets in the way which matters when you’re trying to focus on form rather than tech. What stands out most is how consistently it tracks metrics that really matter: cadence, ground contact time, stride length, and balance. For runners who care about more than pace alone, that depth of insight makes this a genuinely useful tool. Setup is straightforward. The Pod 2 pairs quickly with the Coros app, and you’re up and running in minutes. During workouts it feels solid and responsive. The data feels trustworthy; it doesn’t dance around unpredictably with every stride the way cheaper sensors sometimes do. If you pair it with a Coros watch, the integration feels seamless, and you get a fuller picture of what you’re doing out there on the road or trail. Battery life is decent enough for regular use, and the clip feels secure even on faster intervals. The design isn’t going to win design awards, but it doesn’t need to it’s practical and unobtrusive. It won’t replace a full motion-capture lab, and it doesn’t pretend to. What it does is give runners honest, clear feedback that you can act on. For anyone serious about improving form, the Pod 2 is a thoughtful, reliable little sensor that punches above its weight.
