Baby's Very First Cloth Book: Faces Rag Book – 11 Feb. 2016

This is a lovely little first soft cloth book. It is all in black and white so perfect for a newborn baby to look at. It’s a sweet design, not many pages, just one with a mummy, daddy and then a baby. It has a mirror page which babies love. It crinkles which is nice. It’s also got a Velcro strap so you can attach it to a pram or bouncy chair and not have to chase it around the floor. For the price it could be longer but really it’s the same price as most other cloth books you’d buy on the high street and the same length. It’s a good quality book so if you want something you know is nice and durable then get this rather than something cheaper. This kept my 4 month old interested in the car so I would recommend it. It comes packaged nicely in a little box a bit like a house so it would be a nice small gift for a baby or as part of a hamper of newborn gifts.

I bought this book for my 3 week old newborn because of the high contrast colours. She is starting to spend more time awake and alert and I wanted something engaging for her to look at - this was perfect! She laid wide awake staring at each page, and the mirror on the front is an added bonus - she was looking at herself in the mirror too :) The pages are soft cloth and crinkly. It's very basic but the high contrast colours are perfect for younger babies - glad I bought it!

The crinkly pages, high contrast patterns, and big mirror still get my 4.5 month old baby super excited, and the loop that we can attach to her play arch/ pram/ etc is super handy. There's not a lot of content on the inside of this "book" (a page each for mummy, daddy and baby) but it's more of a toy really. A nice little something for baby!

When this arrived I thought ‘oh is that it!?’. However, my 15 week old baby loves it! There are 3 picture pages and 3 pattern pages in this fabric book. All the pages are crinkly and there’s a mirror on the front. My little boy loves me showing him the pictures and telling him what it says. He also likes scrunching the pages up in his hands. It keeps him occupied for a good 10-15 mins. Long enough for mummy to quickly get changed or have a much deserved cup of tea!

This is a lovely little book for babies however be aware that it only has three pages! I thought at first it was quite pricey for not much content but my son really enjoys looking at all the pages and especially loves the mirror on the front. It keeps him amused for ages and that’s what’s important.The pages are thick and make a crinkly sound which babies love. The colours are bright and contrasting and the book seems very well made.I would definitely recommend this book from newborn upwards as it’s worth the cost.

Got this for my friend's newborn (two weeks old when gifted). She was immediately interested in the images and my friend has told me that it even can distract the baby when she's crying.Highly recommend for newborns. Only a few pages but they don't need lots to keep them interested at this age.

These books are worth their weight in gold and I would highly recommend buying them as a very useful distraction and source of entertainment for newborns.My daughter is two weeks old and loves looking at herself in the mirror. I stick one down the side of her Moses basket mattress and another between the changing mat and it stops any tears or boredom- she giggles to herself and touches the crinkly fabric, it is lovely to see her interacting with books so young.

Love love love this book. When it first arrived I thought it was too small as it only has 3 pages to turn (double pages so 6 images), however this has become a staple "read" every day. Bought when little one was 6 weeks, he's now 11 weeks and we still look at this every day. At 6 weeks it was perfect with strong black and white images to interest him, plus the mirror on the front always makes him coo to see himself. The patterns grab his interest and now he is starting to grab things and so loves the "crinkly" noise-making pages.

Not so expected

Das Produkt ist genau so wie beschrieben. Kommt sehr gut bei den kleinen an. Schwer weiss ist ein guter Einstieg in Bezug auf Wahrnehmenvon Kontrasten.

Mon bébé en est dingue. Il le regarde tout le temps. Je recommande pour les premières interactions dés les premiers jours de l'enfant.
