I am looking for a steve harris bass sound. would this pedal help? thanks in advance.

For bass sounds get a graphic equaliser pedal.

hi would this unit work with electric acoustic guitar

Yes. And you can check this 9V power supply adaptor for this pedal : https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01JZ19B0E

will this work on my bass guitar?

I’ve used it for bass guitar with no problems, however I’m sure a compressor pedal specifically designed for bass would probably give better results

Can you use a bass guitar with this?

Hi Matthew, absolutely, a bass sounds great through it. The chorus in particular thickens the sound nicely and you'll have lots of fun playing with the pitch function. Enjoy!
