Rice cakes
I usually make my own rice cakes, but it’s honestly such a task and sooo messy, so I decided to buy these instead. Not gonna lie, they’re not bad. Tastes quite good once cooked, but straight out of the packet there’s a bit of a funny smell. I love toasting them in sesame oil, adding a drizzle of honey, and finishing with toasted sesame seeds, yumm!

The quantity is okay, but the quality is atrocious. It tastes like rubber and I cooked it for more than 20 minutes, but it did not absorb any of the sauce. I almost puked and just don’t buy it. Make the original rice cakes, even if it takes a day, but don’t opt for these chemicals.
