Tnisesm 8-inch 304 Stainless Steel J Hook Battery Hold Down Bolts

Worked for me. I modified my battery tray and base for this Honda fit to get two batteries installed in the place of the original 151R battery. Thread count on these is 1/4x20 if anyone needs to know. The way I built my battery tray I hade to trim down the j hook side so it didn't protrude out of the other side of the tray. Not a big deal if you have a grinder or cut off wheel and a way to sand the end to round it off a bit. Having both batteries in this car now, I no longer have to jump the crap out of it when the weather gets super cold out. I only used one rod for the side facing the front of the car. The back side I used some full thread, 1/4x20 thread, straight rod and two nuts to hold it and the harness bracket in place that's behind the battery. Of thick a small piece of that bracket I had to trim down and a little tab on the bottom had to get cut off to sit flush on the small L bracket I made to mount to the battery tray. (Which has no bearing on this product, but just ad-libbing about my project). It's rock solid and have had it all together now for two weeks as of writing this review...(2/21/26). No issues thus far with it. We shall see how well it stays looking shiney and all that. Installation is easy if I were using it in a stock type way, but again, I modified it slightly to fit my needs with this project. Hardware is included. I didn't use the plastic or rubber tips though.

I got these to replace my corroded hold downs on my mower. The worked great. Seem to be durable, and look like they are quality material. They were a little long, but work great.

10" is the length you need for a Honda Accord. I measured my (rusted) originals at 9", so I ordered the 10" so I could cut them down. Be aware you need two different lengths--the rear one needs to be shorter due to how they attach to the battery tray. Lay the old ones over top of these new ones and mark them with masking tape, then cut each one as needed with a hacksaw. I like that these include a black plastic cap and lock washers, neither of which my car originally came with.

Replaced the one I dropped in void never to be found on my mazda mx5. This one worked fine.
