I purchased the med size box and it was plenty large for my big wall hanging quilt.

Is this box made form actual acid-free boards?

I'm not sure. It doesn't say it in article on amazon. Thhe tissues are treated however

are these boxes non light penetrable?

It doesn't say in the directions. I'm storing my box underneath a bed -- not in the attic or basement because of moisture.
