Would it remain deionised for a long period of time after opening it?

yes it remains deionised for a long period after opening. This is my second 25 ltr container in 12 months I only use it for my Power steemlite iron and for my floor steamer very good value

Has anyone used this in a K40 laser?

I've used it in larger 50w machine and it works fine.

can it be used in an autoclave?

I regret that I have no idea. We only use the water to fill a steam iron, perhaps an autoclave manufacturer could advise?

This can be used in a steamer (if I understand your question correctly). However, you must bear in mind that de-ionised water will eventually corrode metal. If their are metal components that the water/steam will pass through or contact, you would be better advised to use distilled.

Perfect for steam irons

One needs to buy a tap and then rest the container on a stand. We use a wooden box so that we can decant into a smaller container. Much better value than buying in 5 Ltr containers so long as you have the storage space.
