Excellent piece of kit.
Excellent product, well presented. I must admit I was a bit skeptical that it would fit as well but I can't fault this bracelet. Its a quality piece and fits my Seiko Alpinist perfectly.

It fits the Seiko Alpinist with absolute precision.
I purchased this watch bracelet for my Seiko Sarb017 Alpinist, the strap it comes on is not particularly comfortable. I was a bit worried whether it would be a good fit as it’s shaped for the round case of the watch and if not precise would look cheap. It arrived today and it took five minutes to fit, it is a fantastic piece of engineering, it’s is absolutely spot on, a precision piece and fits the watch like a glove. The links are easy to remove as the pins screw in rather than the cheaper split pins. This bracelet exceeded every expectation I had and it elevates the already high reputation of the Alpinist to very high levels. It now looks like a £1000 watch and the quality is much higher than many Swiss brands. If you are thinking of buying this bracelet, do it, it is absolutely perfect for the Alpinist.

A top quality OEM alternative
After a conversation with the lovely Stella at Strapcode, I finally decided to order a Super oyster to review for our watch enthusiasts groups..and Super quick delivery!. Very very pleased with the item.Fits my Seiko Alpinist perfectly. Its a very high quality weighty product with some skilled precision machining apparent. The design is excellent, the finishing top class and seems incredible value for money. A group test is in the planning with some friends Angus Jubilee and Seiko OEM Oyster bracelets, which is hopefully to be posted on Youtube. But top Marks so far Strapcode / Miltat !!

Bits: chuffed.
Perfecly matched with the SARB017 and pretty close to the SPB157J1 baby Alpinist. Solid end piece extends very slightly beyond the lug. Worth noting that this strap increases the lug-to-lug measurement, so do bear that in mind if you've been wearing on leather/NATO/MN etc. Good quality, solid links. Definitely a weighty bracelet. Makes the watch feel like a £600 Seiko. Ok, ciao.

Fantastic aftermarket bracelet
I've been a fan of Strapcode bracelets for years. They are by far the best aftermarket bracelets I've found. Fit and finish is perfect. The milled clasps are good if not the best, but certainly good enough for the price. Obviously this fits the SARB017, but it also fits the Hamilton khaki 38mm automatic. See pics.

High quality replacement
Fits my SARB017 perfectly, much nicer then the stock leather strap for me as I prefer bracelets, great price for the quality.Super easy to size with the screw links and clasp clicks in reassuringly with plenty of micro adjustment for my small 6 inch wrist.

Just about OK
I bought this strap because I have a Seiko Sarb017 and a Hamilton Field Khaki, both of which the strap should fit. I currently have this strap on the Hamilton, and the end links do fit but not perfectly, and the machining on the end links is also pretty rough, not a smooth finish at all. Haven’t tried it on the Seiko yet but I’m hoping it’ll be a better fit on that. I thought this would be a good option and value for the money, but in hindsight I think I would have shelled out the extra for a genuine Hamilton strap if I could have compared the two. Probably OK for what it is, no major issues but it is a cheaper alternative and I think that shows on inspection.
