Indoor Plant -House or Office Plant -Sansevaria - Mother in Laws Tongue Variegated- Approx 30cm Tall

I was looking for a beautiful and low-maintenance plant to brighten up my home office, and this Sansevieria - Mother-in-Law's Tongue has been an absolute perfect find. It's not just a plant; it's a piece of living art that has completely transformed the space. The first thing I noticed when it arrived was the quality of the packaging. It was securely and thoughtfully wrapped, so the plant arrived in perfect condition, with no damaged leaves or spilled soil. The plant itself is absolutely gorgeous. The variegated leaves have a stunning green and yellow pattern that makes it a real eye-catcher. At approximately 30cm tall, it's the perfect size for a desk or a corner table. What I love most about this plant is how incredibly easy it is to care for. I'm not exactly a seasoned gardener, but the Sansevieria is notoriously hardy and forgiving. It tolerates low light conditions and doesn't require frequent watering, which is perfect for my busy schedule. I only have to water it every few weeks, and it still looks vibrant and healthy. Unfortunately the root ball completely disintegrated when I attempted to re-pot the plant. The plant has now died. No instructions were sent with this plant. In view of the low value of the plant and the sheer inconvenience of returning this item, I have chosen not to return the item & claim a refund. I also found the seller terse, uncommunicative and unhelpful when I raised this issue.

I do not have any kind of garden centre near to me and so have to rely upon online ordering. Normally, I am pleased with what I received but I have to say I was quite disappointed here. I ordered 2 plants and they were delivered in a sturdy cardboard box covered with large pieces of styrofoam to help keep the plants safe. The pots were very thin plastic and covered and sealed with plastic to prevent loss of compost in transit. However, no care was taken to provide safe transit for the tops of the plants and the tip of one was bent. Contents - the one plant had 4 good leaves already grown with a few blemishes but nothing I will worry about at the moment - time might change my mind there. The second plant was simply two large leaves. The first plant was disappointing since the foliage was less than half the display images put up by this seller. The second plant was a disgrace and I doubt if any decent garden centre would consider putting it up for sale, especially not for the price asked for here. After a few days in my home I can see a small sprouting leaf between the two big leaves so am hoping time will develop the plant but I do wonder just why there were not more leaves, it is as if two large leaves had been cut from another plant, potted, and hope for the best. Likely it will thrive, but it should be thriving before being offered for sale! The compost in the pots was nothing to write home about and it was soaking wet! Even after four days in my (very warm) home, the compost was still soaking wet. I have today repotted both plants in better pots and with new compost. I mention this because SAnsevaria plants are not ever supposed to be growing in wet soils. They thrive in barely moist soil and mostly only require a little water every 3 or 4 weeks (unless the weather is exceptionally hot). I expect that the huge amount of excess water that remained in the original compost that clung to the plants like glue will quickly dry out now it is in better quality compost. Priced at £12.29 per plant, I would have considered this great value had the plants I received looked like the seller's own display images. They looked nothing like it and were definitely not worth that amount of money. Indeed, rather than show pictures of ceramic pots that have nothing to do with this product, I think the seller would be advised to show pictures of actual plants that customers can expect to receive, perhaps finishing off with a single picture of a fully established plant that the flimsy plants received might just grow into over time. This was one of the few disappointing purchases I have made online in many years.

Si è molto bella l'ho messa in camera da letto visto che fa la fotosintesi al contrario! Necessita di poca acqua ed è adatta a tutti anche chi non ha il pollice verde!
