These are really good for keeping boxing gloves fresh and odour free. Value for money.

I have some rare Anthony Joshua hustle boxing gloves that I want to keep intact for as long as possible and to keep away from that nasty sweet sweat smell that a lot of people have on their training gear. The smell is quite potent to begin with but i you air the item out for a little while as the instructions state; the smell dulls down a bit. Smells nice but it's intense to begin with. Fits in my gloves like... a glove and have lasted a while.

My boxing gloves previously smelt like something had crawled inside them and died. Now they smell of lavender, which, while not a scent associated with MMA, is preferable to what it was before.

*** UPDATE 21st January 2023 *** It is now four and a half months on, so I just wanted to give an update to help those thinking of purchasing. My son plays football three to four times a week, and even out of season, they have regular training. So we have been using these after every match as, putting it as politely as possible, his gloves after a match had the foul stench of a seven week old blocked sewer! However, I am extremely happy to report that even after all this time, the glove deodorisers still smell as fresh as the day we got them. Not only that but, after every match & training session, the gloves now have a pleasant aroma. Not the original stench they used to have. So I would more than recommend these gloves deodorisers, which would no doubt serve the same purpose in footwear too. ——————————————————————- 4th September 2022 I bought these for my sons goalkeeper gloves. He is 12, but a large 12, and has size 8 gloves. When I tried to put these in the gloves, it was a tight squeeze. But on the upside, they stay in well and my son is able to hang the gloves around his neck when he’s not using them. It actually looks pretty cool. 😁 To help you with sizing, here are the dimensions: Per bulb L = 24cm, W = 9cm, D = 3cm Total length = 75cm

Have used these deodorisers for many years to keep boxing gloves from stinking. They have a VERY strong scent and should be aired out for a day or two before being used. I have found that the scent lasts over a year and even when it starts to dissipate I feel they still do a good job of absorbing moisture and eliminating smells caused by build-up of bacteria.

For the price, this is hard to beat. It has a pleasant odor and works exactly as expected. The scent is pretty strong right out of the package, so I’d recommend leaving it out in an open area for about a week before placing it where you plan to use it. Once it airs out a bit, it’s much more pleasant while still doing a great job. I’d definitely buy it again.
