How are these products applied ?

The 44K is added to the gas. The EPR is added to the oil before an oil change. You put the EPR in the engine run the engine for about 15 minutes, then change the oil. I like to leave the EPR in little longer. Normally I add it, then drive to the shop where I change the oil. You don't want to leave the EPR in the engine for too long though as it is a cleaner.

I may have missed it, but how many gallons does one container treat?

11 oz BG 44k treats up to 20 gallons of gasoline. 11oz BG EPR treats 4-6 quarts/liter capacity crank case.
